Copper Fox Distillery Sperryville

Had a great time. The cocktails that we had were fantastic. The flight was great and helped me pick the bottle I came home with. Steve the cat made the experience even more fantastic. Bruce helped us and was very kind, showed us around like we were old friends. It was a really good experience!

Fantastic! Friendly workers here and the drinks are amazing along with an amazing atmosphere. I got the Chocolate covered cherry old fashion and it's perfect. The chocolate isn't too over powering like I've had in chocolate drinks before from other places. Can't wait to come back

Small distillery at the very end of a mini entertainment district, which you wouldn't expect from the main road. Very homey and comfy inside, lots of wood and warm decor, playlist of bluegrass sonds. The tasting of four quarter pours at 10$ is a good way to try their style. It's not bourbon, it's whisky: they are not limited in the grains or the barrels. So they're quite creative. Although the description provides no age statement (unfortunately), it's all quite easy to sip, nothing harsh (not a very long finish either). Fun to try if you're around.

Very impressed. The nose and flavor on the Copper Fox Original Rye blew us away. My buddy Bob’s been a bourbon guy for years, and even he said it was one of the best pours he’s ever had. The depth and smoothness are almost impossible to describe — it’s that good. Friendly people, great setting, and clearly a distillery that cares about every drop they make.

Wonderfully cozy tasting room to sit and enjoy seasonal cocktails in on a rainy day. Also excellent seasonal drinks. I could've stayed here next to the crackling woodburning stove for hours. Got two seasonal drinks, the Hot Autumn Harvest (apple cider, pumpkin butter, cinnamon stick, single malt) and Cinnamon cream soda with foxfire and vanilla orange slices.

Great cocktails, this refurbished barn has a unique charm.
I didn't get to enjoy a drink in the back, but they have a beautiful little patio set up by a quiet Brook.

I already enjoyed their spirits, but my experience at both Williamsburg and Sperryville make me even more enamored with their products. I visited Sperryville for the first time this week and what a pleasant surprise. Very friendly staff, cool facility, and excellent drinks. Well done and best of luck for many years of good business.

My husband and I visited Copper Fox Distillery in Sperryville. Jesse was a wonderful help to us in terms of talking to us about the products and making us each a wonderful cocktail. Totally personable and knowledgeable and made the experience lots of fun for us. The space is really picturesque and the products are wonderful. We highly recommend.

The atmosphere is amazing. This was genuinely the best experience we have had at any establishment. The women who helped us was incredibly attentive. The experience is worth it.

Peaceful location to enjoy good spirits and cocktails

Had a 1920s factory style vibe to it. Enjoyed a flight for $10. The whiskey sour was really good as well as the lemon drop. Ended up grabbing a bottle of rye for the trip home. Would do again. I like the fact it's in Virginia and not too far away. The meat and cheese's tray was a nice touch. Tasty as well.

This place is absolute hidden gem. We stopped by after the hikes in Shenandoah National Park. Super unique place with the stream of its backyard. We ordered a whiskey flight of 4 and the Whiskey Sour, I personally love the whiskey sour very much and very relaxing and refreshing experience.
