Food and salads were surprisingly good and there is a great outdoor terrace. It is in a converted school, and the old gym is filled with arcade games and a pool table making it a fun place for kids

While the menu is a bit lacking in vegetarian options, the ones they have are delicious! The hearty veggie bowl provides a unique and flavorful option, and the veggie burger stands out as one of the best. The setting is fun and entertaining whether you sit outside, in the pub, or enjoy the arcade.

My negative comments are limited to staff. When our order was "lost," we were the ones who checked in to see what was taking so long. The young staff member who notified us we would have to re-order and it could take at least another 15 minutes. That could have been the "turn-it-around" moment I have seen a few times over the decades. Instead my wife's frustration came out in a suggestion of free food. The staff member snipped as us. The attitude came with a "What do you want ME to do about it?"

We had a great time hanging on the patio at headmasters. The wings were delicious. While the chicken quesadillas are on the kids menu, I was able to order them. Myself and my dog liked them. The patio is dog friendly. It's great for the atmosphere. Inside, there were families. There were a bunch of games. Wish I could have stayed for shuffleboard! The waitress was wonderful and so nice to the pup, and we liked being able to see the golfers who play. Wish the menu was a little bigger. I'll have to try the Reuben next time because other people around us really enjoyed it. A+ for atmosphere and the great star views at night.

I ate here several years ago and didn’t care for this restaurant. I gave them another try after seeing it changed management. Tonight is my second visit since my last visit was very good. Very good service. Nicely presented and fresh, tasty food! This Reuben us pretty and hot! Hubby is enjoying their burgers!

We had lunch here today. We are on the patio. We shared an order of fish and chips and an order of fried pickles. They were both very good. I wish the fried pickles had come out first as opposed to I’m with the entree. We enjoy them both. The service was good we will go back when in the area.
Casual spot for lunch or dinner. Short walk from Hopkins Ordinary BBB (Bed, Breakfast, Brewery), where we were staying, and Sperryville's Main Street. There's covered patio seating overlooking the golf course with mostly large tables for groups. We had zero expectations but were surprised by the solid burgers and fries. Good beer list with a few local options like Bold Rock. After, we enjoyed a few games of pool, which is free for those that dine in. Plenty of pool tables, table shuffleboard, skee-ball, arcade games, even a mini merry-go-round for the kiddies. Bring cash for coins. It was mostly empty around 7pm on a Saturday night in July; the website asks that you call to check if they're open, since COVID is still, you know, a thing. Overall, good spot if you're staying in Sperryville or nearby enjoying a weekend in Shenandoah.

Bar tender, friendly and courteous dude, food very mediocre partially due to the fact that the menu we got had none of the diversity you see in the food pics on yelp, arcade, huge/pretty awesome throwback and tons of fun. But we visited because of the way the food looked on the yelp pics, so have to rate with my stomach.

I've gone tons of times before, always a great experience. The staff is always helpful and nice, and the food is some of the best in the area. Nachos, burgers, fish n chips all great choices. Would definitely recommend.

We stopped in here for a late lunch. It sits along side a 9 hole golf course. We had fish and chips and fried pickles. Both were very good. I wish the fried pickles were served first as opposed to at the same time as the entree, but the food was tasty and well cooked. We ate outside under the sun shade. Beautiful day. The service was friendly and efficient. We will ho back when we are in town.
