Had an excellent Spring Break stay at Hopkins Ordinary where we were greeted by excellent hosts; stayed in a beautiful room with a fireplace and clawfoot bathtub; given delicious breakfast each morning; received spectacular recommendations for picturesque hikes and views in the area; and even more! I couldn't recommend this place enough. Thank you so much, Caryn and Robert!

My husband and I had a memorable time at the Hopkins Ordinary Inn. We were greeted warmly by the innkeepers, Caryn and Robert who took the time to walk us through the property and answer our questions about the surrounding area of Rappahannock County. The room was very comfortable, immaculately clean, with a fireplace. It was a short walk to our delicious memorable dinner at Three Blacksmiths. Caryn and Robert prepared a delightful breakfast with homemade muffins and eggs. It was a perfect experience topped off by the homemade chocolate chip cookies that were waiting for us in our room. Kudos and thanks to Caryn and Robert for making our visit so special.

This was our second stay at Hopkins Ordinary. We stayed an extra night so we’d have more time to enjoy it and the surrounding area. Wonderful stay, delicious breakfast, amazing service. We love being able to walk to restaurants in Sperryville. This weekend it snowed, so we especially enjoyed the fireplace in our room, in the living room, and in the ale house downstairs. We also very much enjoyed the beers. We had a great, snowy hike in Shenandoah National Park just a 10 min drive from the B&B. Highly recommend, and we hope to be back again soon! Thank you, Caryn and Robert and Sherri and Kevin for a wonderful stay!

Didn't stay here but popped in for some beer and had fresh hot pretzels as well. Let me tell you... Both were amazing. Did a flight of their maltier beers and they were very well done. The hot pretzels with both the fig and mustard dips were amazing.

We very much enjoyed our short stay at the Hopkins Ordinary B&B last summer! Very attentive and nice staff and a beautiful building! We enjoyed our very nicely decorated room, the fresh and delicious breakfast as well as sitting on the porch, having a coffee or a beer. Great place to stay when going to the Shenandoah National Park. Would love to come again and would definitely recommend!

We've been going here for 8 yrs and they never disappoint. Consistently the best craft beer near or far. This brewer isn't playing around. He knows what he's doing. Winter or summer the atmosphere is exactly what you're looking for when you venture out to rural Virginia. Their beer garden is truly that. Lush and shaded by the expansive arms of the most beautiful old tree you've seen. Post hike or just gathering with friends the garden seating is as charming as it gets. In the cooler months sit by the fire pit outside or venture inside the historic house to experience the coziest stone walled tasting room we've ever been to. Original wood fired fireplace in a setting that feels like home, only better! The owners always welcome us with a smile and have remembered our names since the very first time we visited. Definitely a must in Sperryville.

Stopped by here for a beer after a long, wonderful hike. We loved the atmosphere - they have a beer garden beneath a most magnificent tree and a stone-walled cellar that reminds me of sitting in bars in Prague or Germany. Service and the beer were all terrific. Had a warm soft pretzel with our refreshing drinks, though snack options are limited.

We stopped there for the beer garden. And it was great. They have a lovely basement, and it is very unique. They also have lots of outdoor seating, but we didn't get to enjoy it because it was kinda hot, but maybe next time. Beer was great, and the bar people were very friendly and awesome.

Wow! What a great, unexpected, amazing experience. The Inn was quaint and historical. Sitting on the porch drinking crafted beer and enjoying nature and just getting away from it all! The innkeepers shared their perfect vibe with us! Breakfast was absolutely fantastic as well!! Anyone looking for a great location close to Shenandoah National Park with a truly great vibe - this is your place! Being across from the general store with their home-baked goods didn’t hurt either.

Sherri and Kevin were outstanding hosts! They offered great ideas re: day trips and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was excellent! And did we mention the brewery?! Our hosts also make outstanding beers in their cellar brewery on site. The B and B was conveniently situated just outside of Shenandoah National Park — perfect for folks who want to wake up and get out into nature. We will be back!!

The inns is very cozy, great location in sperryville and close to shenendoah, and the inn keepers are super nice and friendly. Breakfast is delicious as well, and they accommodated dietary restrictions. The beer is super tasty and has some fun flavors too. We will definitely be coming back!

This little gem at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains provides a relaxing getaway from everyday life. Sherri and Kevin are the perfect innkeepers and go above and beyond to make it a special visit. They provide detailed information on nearby restaurants and areas of interest that has always been spot-on. The ale works is an added bonus; a welcome treat upon arrival. The pretzels are really good too! The rooms are well maintained, clean, and comfortable. The balcony privacy policy for the rooms is much appreciated with the main porch available for everyone. The breakfast is delicious and made to perfection. We have stayed three times and look forward to our next visit. Gentle reminder: don't forget the bug spray!
