Hopkins Ordinary is our go-to friendly, local pub. The owners are charming and welcoming. On lovely weather days their beer garden is a comfortable oasis. Their unique beer cellar is an amazing space worth a visit in any weather. We enjoy the fireplace and board games. We love this spot!
My husband and I had an excellent weekend at Hopkins Ordinary. It exceeded expectations. The sheets on the bed were noticeably wonderful and mattress was great—slept so well! Similarly I was taken with the breakfasts: I tend to find frittatas kinda meh but theirs was outstanding. Same the next day with an egg, cheese and sundried tomato pesto crepe. We stayed here because it was a short walk to a restaurant where we had a reservation. Proved to be a great choice. Spacious room and bathroom with access to a nice balcony with a swing. Deliciius and very healthy breakfast. There's not that much happening in Sperryville, but it's a very cool little town. Good place to launch from if you're visiting vineyards or hiking trails.
