My family stopped by Itavie after visiting the Spotsylvania County Fair. I placed a to-go order knowing it would be busy, and the hostess greeted me with a professional yet personable attitude. She mentioned dessert, so I couldn’t resist trying the cheesecake and carrot cake—both were absolutely delicious! We’ll definitely be back!

I really enjoy this restaurant. The food is always phenomenal and the service staff is always attentive. I'm usually the type who gets the same thing at restaurants but this is one of the few places I like to get something different every time because it's always going to be good. I also love lookin at the dessert options when we leave and taking home something yummy for later. I like that this place is equal parts casual as it is upper scale. It's the best of both worlds. I will always recommend Itavie to anyone. Thanks for everything!

The food was good and the deserts from the case are as well. The service was sup par our waitress took our order and brought the check other than that never came by the table. I hope this place is on top share because our food came from runners and we had to get refills and to go boxes from the runners taking dishes. Then went to order our own desserts to our table

The food here is delicious and the service is outstanding. Some of my favorites are the Italian burger, pizzas, and the Rueben. Sonia is an outstanding waitress! Great selection of dessert, and very clean dining room. The owner is a very kind lady and went around the dining room and gave out doughnuts she made from scratch. Customer service at its finest!

I have been going to Itavie since they opened and have never been disappointed..This past Saturday was no exception..I had family in from Richmond and we decided to go to Itavie for dinner. The food was excellent and the service as usual was perfect..Our server Sonia was just great..She made sure our dining experience was one that we wouldn't forget..It was the first time my out of town family had dined at Itavie and they are already looking foward to a return visit. Thank You Maria, Sonia and the entire Itavie staff.

I visited Itavie with a party of four. I ordered steak gorgonzola pasta, the description on the menu made it sound really good. However, it ended up being a rather disappointing dish. The pasta had an odd texture, the sauce had no flavor and there wasn't much gorgonzola on the steak. To be fair, the others in my party enjoyed their food, but it was a miss for me.

Recently went to Itavie for the first time and loved it! Service was excellent! We had Sonya as our server and she made us feel right at home. Super friendly and personable. The manager stopped by a couple of times and was super friendly as was the rest of the staff who would also stop by to clear a plate, etc.

Food was delicious. My two notoriously picky kids loved it too...so much so that we went out of our way to go back the next week to try all new dishes and desserts. We saw all the same staff and they were just as friendly and welcoming as our first visit. Highly recommend!

Exceptional. The wine list had some great Italian varietals. The Amarone is a must. The entrees were delicious, and desserts were incredible. Tucked away in Spotsylvania Courthouse, it feels like a hidden gem. A little pricey for a casual night out, but it's worth every penny. It would have been less expensive, but we ordered a lot because we couldn't say no to anything. We'll be back again and again.

The food is always delicious! Every time we are in town this is where my son wants to eat.
Salmon salad is my favorite, and he gets the pepperoni pizza. And you certainly can't leave without dessert - good luck deciding!

We love this place. Always good food, and the staff is friendly, helpful, and hard working. Nice atmosphere. Good quality ingredients, and don't forget to get some dessert to go if you are full! Lots to choose from!

Stopped by here for lunch. Very nice setting, they got outdoor seatings.
Bakery/coffee section is great!
I also tried shrimp Alfredo and garlic knots.
Alfredo was good but garlic knots were average, inside of the bread wasn't baked all the way.
Service was good as well.

I went to Itavie earlier this evening and after the awful display I will not be back. My overall waitress and service from them was amazing along with my food while expansive it was okay. I had front row tickets for the most UNPROFESSIONAL management ever. The table near me may have been a little picky but something was wrong with a Creme Brûlée dessert they ordered and she asked the waitress to have the chef reheat it the way Crème Brûlée is normally served (not cold) They originally said no and the baker was not there. She complained a little more and a manager came and spoke to her and tried to handle the situation after that you could hear the owner yelling in the kitchen about how awful they were for asking for it to be warmed up. Mind you they have a window in the kitchen and they were sat right next to it hearing every word. They yelled about it for over 5 minutes and it truly ruined my own appetite. On top of that you could see the poor waitress sad after dealing with the yelling and trying to help her table. This was an awful display and shows how little they cared about their customers and providing a nice STRESS-FREE atmosphere. I’ve never eaten at a Fancier restaurant and seen customer treated the way they were or heard the kitchen yelling and screaming.

Noisy atmosphere. Yelling in kitchen. Rushed service. Server tried, but clearly was under pressure with too many tables. Not worth the cost.
