In the area for work and stopped in for lunch. The restaurant was nice and very clean. The food was good, and the service was great! I'll definitely stop in again if I'm in the area.
An absolute gem in Surry, VA. Opened in early 2025, and it's a new build, everything is really nice. Classic atmosphere, friendly service, great value, and really excellent food. I grew up in southern California, and have lived for 20 years in Texas and 8 in New Mexico, so I know whereof I speak. I had the enchiladas banderas, and my lovely bride had the birrias. Superb! Everything from the chips and salsa to the main meal. Our only regret was that neither of us could finish...
A friend and I went for lunch on a Sunday. We sat at the bar, Victoria Gammell George took care of us. We socialized with one of the customers at the bar. Very nice Atmosphere, great service, great food, and I will travel again to go. I live in Yorktown, Va. I got a seafood chimcunga. It was delicious. The customer at the bar was having one. I usual get Chicken chimcunga. But I am glad I changed it up. So glad to have Victoria taking care us again. Nice clean restaurant 😀
