What an incredible find. We ate at a good Thai restaurant the previous day and our cousins invited us to try 9 Pad Thai. Needless to say we were blown away by their unique take on Thai Cuisine. Top notch were the Crispy Pad Thai, Crispy Duck and Soft shell crab. All dishes were 3 star with the exception of the calamari which was more crust and little calamari. The service was attentive and friendly. The ambiance was relaxed and simple The also served both Singha and Chang Beer, which paired well with the Thai spices.

I ordered the crispy watercress salad for take out. I got home and there was a generous amount of watercress but it also ha a lot of oil remaining in it. I didn't eat much because I was concerned about getting sick from eating a lot of oil. I have eaten at this restaurant before but didn't enjoy it much this time. I also noticed that it was lunchtime and the restaurant was nearly empty, which surprised me. When I got my bill I noticed that I was charged more than the price on the menu. Beware!

This is a great Thai food selection for Springfield, VA. We ordered drunken noodle and Pad thai which were both great. Both were not spicy and seasoned just right. Service was quick and price was fair. The restaurant looks clean and welcoming. There is enough parking around the area. I would love to try their curries and other drinks. I recommend this place to anybody hungry coming from the 95 highway since it is very close coming off the highway.

I have been eating Thai food for 25 years plus this is by far the worst Thai food I’ve ever had the pad se ew noodles were terrible and the panang curry didn’t even taste like panang curry and don’t get me started on the Tom yum soup it was inedible.

TOO EXPENSIVE 3 times they got the order wrong I asked them the 3rd visit to make sure they had pork not chicken. He told me it was pork. Said he would not give me a refund. 60$ a pop! This place is far TOO EXPENSIVE to be disrespected when asking for the correct order.

I can't give five stars until I dine here a few more times but for the first visit, my friend and I were extremely happy. We normally visit another Thai spot and I got to searching for others just to venture out of the routine. We both liked 9 Pad Thai's menu and the good Yelp reviews. We went on a Sunday, arrived around 11:15 (they open at 11) and the door was locked but the gentleman inside quickly came to unlock it (he had been preoccupied and time got away). The restaurant was extremely clean and organized - even the restroom :). The server was gracious, the food came out quickly, the bonus spring roll was a surprise. And the rest is history! The flavor profile was very tasty! For whatever reason, it didn't taste like "normal" Thai food - there was gentle complexity to the sauce. We love SPICY food - ordered Thai spicy level 7 and it was almost perfect. Next time - level 8. The fact they have a separate book/menu with pictures of their dishes was very helpful; haven't seen that before. Bottom line, we can't wait to go back and try other dishes! Oh, and the restaurant was filling up when we left. The gentleman seated behind us is evidently a regular as he rattled off what he wanted without even looking at the menu. Good sign!

THE BEST THAI RESTAURANT! I’ve been to all the best local popular Thai restaurants around the NoVa area for last 2 decades and nothing beats here! Best drunken noodles, I always ask for extra Smokey, charred a little and they always do it for me & their servers are all the nicest and remember their customers and accommodate all my requests. The food is so flavorful and fresh always and consistent. They offer amazing variety of authentic dishes here too, but I just love their drunken noodles that we get two orders. They are have halal beef I believe!! Every time I try another Thai place out of convenience, I am disappointed and nothing compares.Kid-friendliness: Wonderful friendly and attentive servers

We really enjoyed our meal at 9 pad Thai. We split a cashew chicken order and it was absolutely delicious. 100% would do again. The server was really nice and service was fast and the restaurant was decorated with some Christmas lights really tastefully. I really enjoyed the whole thing.
