This restaurant is consistently solid all around. The place was packed with a room full of happy diners and lots of to go orders being picked up for New Year's Eve. There was one or two people working front of house and they were hustling all night. Well done! The food was fantastic what a great way to close out 2025. It continues to be our go to when craving warm and delicious meals.

This is a very fine restaurant that we've been going to for many years. The service is unfailingly courteous, and attentive but not intrusive. Once seated, you are given a basket of fresh Afghan bread with four dipping sauces. The food is consistently excellent - we always get either the aushak or mantu dumpling entrees and one of the stews, which is a generous and very reasonably priced dinner for two. The dining area is neither large nor fancy, and there is not a lot of space between tables, but it doesn't feel crowded and it isn't noisy. It's an just a comfortable, unpretentious and authentic ethnic restaurant with great food and service. What more could you want?

It had been a while since we ate at Afghan Bistro, so I suggested a small group of us meet for lunch there. We arrived just after the restaurant opened, so it was quite empty, but it filled up rapidly as the afternoon wore on. It is obviously a popular place. We had a very pleasant and efficient server. She answered our questions and did a good job while we were there. My friends ordered the Sabzi Chalou and Chicken Breast Kebob, while I got the Lamb Chops. The chops came with rice with carrots and raisins and a side of Eggplant. Overall a delicious dish. The food was fresh and tasty. After lunch, we ordered some cardamom tea. I enjoyed the tea as it was light and fragrant. We were all happy with our meal and would definitely eat there again.

I know their food tastes nice but the way my food was packed, that was pathetic and because of that packing the food taste got mixed up.The restaurant packed rice, bbq and the pumpkin gravy in a one take away box which mixed up everything and I did not feel the tastes of each dish. Please learn how to pack foods separately

In addition to the delicious food and great service, I accidentally left my credit card behind. It may have been a day or so before I even missed it but because I had made reservations, they had my phone no. (restaurant is small) and called me when I was barely out of the lot. He even tried to catch me before I drove away and they were quite busy with just the one waiter and one server. Great job of looking out for your customers!

I got the lamb shank which was so delicious, the meat just fell right out, I ordered the cardamom tea with the Cardamom Milk Cake and it was the best cake I’ve had in a while! Literally so happy I came across this hidden gem. It’s a very small restaurant so I wouldn’t come with a large group.
