I came to this restaurant as a kid and have not been in many years. I was excited to return for the wonderful food and experience that I had come to know but my visit was entirely ruined by one of the managers the waitress would only refer to as Chef D and refused to give me his name. But a tall dark skinned guy with earrings. Our experience was doomed from the start because the waitress seemed to have a problem with us from before she even came to greet us and glared at us from across the room. Then when we ordered drinks she asked to see our IDs and we provided them. She asked to take them from the table because “she couldn’t read them” and then the man I assume is a manager/chef refused to accept my ID because it was a Texas license. I asked him to scan the ID to validate it and he claims the restaurant does not have a scanner. I don’t believe this to be true as restaurants that serve alcohol that are well established typically have scanners. And if it is true that they don’t have scanners this location is entirely ill prepared to be serving alcohol. The chef then starts loudly saying from the open kitchen for the whole restaurant to hear “it’s a fake! It’s a fake!” Which is so unprofessional I can’t even begin to describe. This ruined our experience to the point where we no longer wanted to spend any money with them. We had already ordered a pizza so we just requested it to go. We had driven over an hour and to feel so disrespected is just so dissatisfying and disappointing.
Just had dinner there with 40 people.
Always great service and a top notch restaurant.
I will continue to bring our groups there.
Thanks again for the great time
Lovely restaurant
Meatballs are delicious 😋
Warm bread 🍞 great with a salad
We've eaten here many times, and it's always been decent. But last night made you feel like their 4.2 rating on here isn't about four-fold inflated. It was a 1 star situation at best, and knowing that I was tired, I tried to give them as much grace as I could, but every single thing about the experience went wrong.
We waited 5 minutes in the door to be noticed, and that was after I poked my head into the bar area and was hustled back to the front by the manager. I should have left right then.
The waitress was clearly new or in training. Not a crime and not the first time I've been waited on by new staff...and on a Tuesday night, it's reasonable. There wasn't a grasp on the menu, but again, I can get there. The restaurant was out of literally EVERYTHING at the bar. Draft system down, anything not basic domestic beer out of stock. My wife ordered her wine 4 times and had to explain that cab was a red wine. She frequently reached across us as we were a lively eating. Sweet lady, just new. They need to train their people.
We were asked to order before the drinks even arrived, and things just seemed aimed to get us in and out as fast as possible. The waitress was nice but went missing for long periods, especially as the check was due. I sat a solid 10 minutes waiting to pay (mind you, the restaurant was not even slightly busy, 10% capacity, maybe).
Finally, on the way I realized our dessert to go was never delivered, and I doubled back for another 5 minutes wait to find someone to give me it.
Save yourself, go over to the mall 5-secinds away, and hit Maggiano's. I would have spent just as much (maybe more because their bar would have had product). Will never return.
A+. $52 for two incl tax. Entre's came with excellent salad and bread/oil. One soda. Atmosphere and service staff very pleasant. They can accommodate large groups.
I ordered through uber eats so I can’t speak on the service or atmosphere but the food I ordered was NOT good. I got the meatball appetizer and the shrimp fettuccine Alfredo. I would give the meatballs about a 3.5/5 and the Alfredo a 1/5. The portion was huge but there was no flavor whatsoever. I could make better Alfredo at home. There was a weird after taste like some aspect of it was frozen at some point. The shrimp had zero flavor, it’s like they were boiled with water and thrown in. Couldn’t taste any garlic, Italian herbs, nada. It was so disappointing for the price. Will not be ordering again. I had La Fiamma earlier this week and it was 10x better. The 4.2 rating on this place is a joke. Save your money

Used to go here frequently. This time, food was not as good as before. Caesar salad was mostly end pieces. Service was very slow. I had lasange which tasted rather bland.

Old and run down inside. Waited to be sat over 10 minutes on a Sunday night. Perhaps no hostess and not enough help. Many open tables. Food was average. Three courses and a large portion of Parmesan Chicken led to left overs for the next day.

We’ve been coming to Bertucci’s for years but in the past couple of years it feels like the quality has gone way down. We ordered Mac and cheese for someone in the family, and it looked like this. It is very dry, oily and crumbly and lacks flavor. The other dishes are ok. I wish the quality was like it was back in the early 2000’s.
