Best breakfast I've had in a long time. Everything was served hot, which included a hotcake (light & fluffy), waffles, bacon cooked crispy (the way I like it), and eggs over hard. The coffee was also hot, and good, as were the grits. The restaurant is in a strip mall, but it's off to the side. Service was friendly and efficient.

Exactly what I was looking for in a diner. Hot and fresh cup of coffee and a ham and cheese omelette. My waiter was quick with the coffee refills and the overall atmosphere was relaxed.

Early breakfast on weekends, (en)during end of fiscal year contracting activities at the Pentagon +20 years ago, was kind of a right of passage. Times have changed. And Bob & Edith's Diner(s).
Over time they have expanded. Diners come and grand come and go, and this Diner (as myself) is showing age.

Excellent diner with very good breakfast items served by a friendly and professional wait staff in short order even when the restaurant is packed. Prices are about average with good bargains for their specials.

This is a great place to eat. Super friendly staff and very efficient. Portions are huge!! Noor waited on us. She is super nice and attentive!! Love this place!!!

My wife and I were looking for a bite to eat after seeing The Broken Arrows concert at the Kennedy Center, and we stumbled upon Bob & Edith’s Diner in Springfield, VA. It was honestly the best diner experience I have ever had. The moment we sat down, our waitress was on point, coming over to our table right away.
The menu had a fantastic selection of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, and everything we ordered came out hot and perfect. My wife had the meatloaf and mashed potatoes, and the flavors were incredible—the gravy was so good! I was adventurous and tried the cheeseburger omelet for the first time, and I can tell you it won’t be my last. It was absolutely delicious.
We can't wait to go back. This place is, without a doubt, a five-star gem.

I sat on the patio. My server begrudgingly helped me. The trash on the ground was gross. I spent 15 years in the restaurant industry and each day we’d pick up trash in the parking lot and would NEVER allow the junk to accumulate like this place does.
