The Chicken Highway Red is absolutely outstanding, perfectly cooked, juicy, and spicy that keeps you coming back for more. The Chapli Kabab and Beef Seekh Kabab are must-tries as well tender, flavorful, and grilled to perfection.
I ordered the goat karahi and it was honestly the worst I’ve had in years. The meat tasted off, almost like it was expired and the overall flavor was terrible. It didn’t have the freshness you’d expect from a good karahi. Very disappointing experience and definitely not worth the money. I’d suggest all my friends to stay away from this place.
I also overheard the owner talking to customers in a very rude manner. I wish I could give them a 0 rating.

The best Pakistani food in the DMV. You can’t go wrong when you come here. There beef pulao is so good. Whenever we go we order the black pepper karahi. Everything is always fresh and made to order. There Gulab jamun and rabri were a great end to our delicious meal.
Hands down the best place for food in the dmv region. Best biryani, best karahi, best fry kabob, best dhaga kabob. This place offers the closest to authentic karachi food and I highly recommend them!

Wow! Excellent food - the taste brings back memories of my time in Karachi. We had the traditional authentic Biryani, mutton Karahi, chicken Karahi, samosa and oven-fresh naan. Everything was fresh and tasty. The owner and staff were very nice and friendly, even running out to our car as we were pulling away to bring us an order of samosas we had forgotten about. :-)
We'll definitely be back soon!

We recently visited Desi Bhetak and had a generally positive experience. The Chicken Biryani was flavorful and spicy, which I enjoyed, although it was a bit overpowering at times. The Behari Kabab, on the other hand, was soft and tender, but the spices overpowered the meat flavor for me.
The portion sizes were good, and the taste of the biryani was enjoyable. One thing to note is that their Naali Biryani is only available for pre-order one day in advance and is served exclusively on Thursdays.
The only area for improvement would be the cleanliness around the tables and kitchen area. Overall, we appreciated the effort and would consider visiting again.
