“My coworker brought me to Ballston Quarter after our meeting for lunch before I flew out. The overall food court has some great eats but I love me some dumplings. Found Dumpling District and was pleased that it offered the menu in both English and Chinese, that’s how you know it’s legit! The gentleman was very friendly, informative, and he also spoke Cantonese which I don’t see often in my hometown of Raleigh. The soup dumplings had great flavor and temperature while the fried dumplings had just the right proportion of filling to wrap. On top of that, the house fried rice had great wok hei (for those Chinese/Canto speakers). I will definitely go back the next time I am in town!“

“The most affordable, fast and tasty lunch option in the area. It’s a family-owned spot with great lunch specials and options for vegetarians. Highly recommend. It’s more of a takeout spot, but they have a few seats if you need to eat lunch in house“

“I happened to be in the shopping center and I needed something for dinner. I have always wanted to try them but never got the chance. They were great! Loved the Peking Duck dumpling, and my partner loved the Bulgogi Dumpling. I also ordered the Teriyaki Chicken as a recommendation, and it all did not disappoint. It reminded me of New York Chinatown. Next time... soup dumplings! There are lots of good veggie options, too. All I was missing was my boba tea, and I would have been set. Lots of great choices!“

“My wife and I visiting relatives in DC area, found this restaurant for lunch. Very unique to this family from Florida! Because the menu was so much fun, we ordered way too much food. They had giant oysters, biggest I have ever seen. I tried steamed chicken feet and steamed beef tendon, really great flavors and texture. We ordered some shrimp and vegetables wrapped in rice paste, also steamed, never seen anything like it and very good. We had selections of steamed pork buns, cuttlefish with pickled vegetables, it goes on and on. The servers were super nice and helpful. The restaurant is very basic, but busy even at lunch. A super experience.“

“I came from the zoo and wanted to sit down for some lunch. We got the Peking Duck and we’re not disappointed. Order a hot tea, the tea service is beautiful. We tried Beef and Vegetable Dumplings, they were juicy and rich, and earned a high recommendation. We were delighted we chose Han Palace it is beautiful and welcoming with superb service.“

“Came to this place on a rainy day because I firmly believe there is no better comfort food during this time than Chinese food. I walked into this large restaurant. The place was pretty empty which is unfortunate because the food is BANGIN’. The portion sizes are insanely big! I got the Hunan Beef which was tender and delicious. My friend got the tofu rice noodles which could have fed a family of four lol!
Definitely recommend to give this place a try! Our server was adorable and she made sure we were comfortable and had a great time!“

“Food was good but lacked that flavor that elevates the dish from being good to great. It was still good and came out most Rikki-tik, almost too quick but still felt fresh. Felt full but not in a bad way. Definitely felt satiated afterwards. Pleasantly surprised with the food and the overall price. I would come back if I was in the area and hungry for Dim Sum.“

“Excellent service and fresh food. Menu has a good variety with lots of price points to accommodate everyone's budget.
Ordered Singapore Noodles, 1/2 peking Duck, Beef and Broccoli, and Green Onion Cake. This was enough for dinner and 3 lunches to go.“
