We used to love the district taco in DC and Merrifield, and were excited when one opened up closer to where we live. Anytime we have ordered here, they get some aspect or all of our order wrong. A mistake here and there I can totally understand because we’re human. It’s why we have continued giving them a chance. But lately it has been big mistakes the last several times we have ordered. Most recently they forgot almost all the toppings on my bowl, and my husbands carne asada taco meat was dry and a gray color. When you order pickup, these mistakes are a bigger deal than if we were eating there. We aren’t going to drive all the way back for a correction. So we won’t be coming back anymore after this final disappointing meal. It’s just not worth the price.

District Taco in Springfield never misses. Bold flavors, legit tortillas, and protein that actually tastes grilled, not reheated. The salsas hit with real personality, and the build-your-own setup always comes out balanced. Fast, reliable, and way better than typical “quick Mexican.” This place is a go-to.

I’ve been to the District Taco in Springfield a few times now, and honestly it’s pretty solid for a quick meal. The food is usually fresh, and I like that you can customize everything. I normally get a burrito or a taco box, and the chicken is almost always seasoned well. Their chips and queso go crazy too.
