The spot is unassuming but please don't be fooled, it is a hidden gem. The sushi was exactly what I was looking for. Delicious and at the right price. The experience was elevated by the ambiance with good vibes and classic jazz to tie everything together. The service was perfect too, and the chef is really sweet. We will be coming back for breakfast and more.

I have celiac disease and began ordering from here after I spoke with the owner and explained my condition and how to avoid gluten about a year ago. Unfortunately, I *did* get violently ill (I'm still recovering and will be for months) in early January after ordering online (I've always called my order in).
So, I decided to call my order in today, and he acted like he didn't know anything about gluten OR who I was. Ya'll. I have spent thousands of dollars here over the past year (we love sushi and share with our friends), and I have no idea how I haven't gotten sick before now, but I'm done after that conversation.
Great food, but unfortunately, yet again, this is another restaurant that *in theory* could cater to celiac people, maybe even corner a huge EMPTY market, but does not care to, and probably doesn't even need to 🙄.

Stopped in on a Saturday night. Placed order at 5:42pm. At 6:18 we still had no food. My husband ordered spring rolls and soup when we first sat down prior to 5:42pm and still didn’t even have that small order. I walked up to ask when our order was ready and she said not too much longer. I watched the gal set our spring rolls on the counter. 5 minutes later my husband walked up to the window and asked if those were ours. Which they were. 5 minutes later a gal brought the miso soup and spilled it all over my husbands lap. She came back with another soup and did not spill this time. 5 more minutes later I walked up again and she said not much longer. At this point I asked her to make our food to go. She said she like add a miso soup for free to the bag(see photo) 5 minutes later I saw someone place a bag on top of the front desk.. 10 minutes go by and still no food so I walked up to the front again and asked if our food was ready and then she said oh sorry and grabbed the bag that had been sitting there for 10 minutes… absolutely unreal, will not be back.

Food tasted cheap but still good. I ordered ramen and salmon poke and felt like the chef minimized the ingredients used for profit purpose. (Ex: salmon poke had sliced cucumber and lettuce next to salmon on a bed of white rice) Food still tasted good. Price may be few dollar cheaper and this can be a good strategy that menu include only necessary ingredients with a good portion size. Still felt like might be good for growing high school athletes and with more ingredients (with few more dollar) the food can be flavorful. I ordered about 3 times trying different menu.

A little hole in the wall spot that my friend and I found when we desperately wanted some sushi. The inside is very small and the country music kind of throws off the vibe lol but the service and food were excellent. The owner of the restaurant took our order and was very sweet and attentive. The miso soup and salads that came with the entrees were flavorful and the sushi and sashimi itself were top notch. The fish was high quality and vibrant in color. During our time, there were a lot of people coming in to pick up orders so it seems like a well loved spot for their sushi! We’ll definitely be returning!

The food is amazing! My 1 year old approves! We had a minor hiccup with the bimbamp (spelled wrong sorry) they added spice. They remade the order but the food was so delicious also got gyoza and crunch sushi! This place is sooo good!
