Pho Number 1 Authentic Vietnamese Restaurant

The first thing is a typical vietnamese restaurant run by a family. Customer service and greeting guests are minimal. I ordered the pho special combo, and it is typical what comes with it. The first thing i taste is the broth, and that determines the quality of the pho. The broth has the taste of a high amount of msg added. The water tastes like it wasn't cooked and boiled with all the beefs and materials that actually make good broth. I also ordered an avocado smoothie, and of course, the waiter did not ask about the level of sweetness I wanted. So when the waiter finished making the smoothie and brought it to me and told me that he did not make it sweet and the only sweet come with it is the condensed milk. I was trying to polite and not give the waiter a hard time but to accept as it is. They don't know what they are doing, and training is lacked. I can't give less than 3 stars rating because it would be crazy.

Good restaurant for someone who likes traditional Vietnamese food. Special recommend for people have a short time for lunch break.

So far this is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Springfield. I was there with my friends, and we liked all dishes we ordered. I had a bowl of duck noodle soup. The meat was really fresh, and the broth is tasty but not too greasy which I really like.

I love this place, the food is delicious, i'm a fan of Cơm Tấm Sườn Grilled Pork Chop w Broken Rice. So, i alway order that, i have tried beef noodle soup and it was also good. The service was quick and the staff was friendly, I was highly satisfied with the outcome.

Misleading mobile ordering resulted in me paying $20 more for items that are normally included at other Pho spots. Think you're getting a small order of pho (enough to fill a container)? Nope. You're getting it on the side and it's like the size of a sour cream container.

You want what you think you ordered? Pay an extra $4 for broth. No condiments like hoisin or hot sauce so you have to pay an extra $1 each. No limes.

They told me they would give me two hoisin free and then I pay $2 extra for the other two. Nope - got to the register and it was $4. I asked her for limes since they were advertised on Uber Eats as included - she tried to charge me for that too! Do not patronize here unless you like to just give your money away.

She outright told me I didn't know how to order pho and I said look I have been eating it for years at pho cyclo and Eden center. I said I normally get sai gon mi which they don't have but she insisted they did. I said show me and she couldn't find it. She said next time just come in to order. There will be no next time.

This place serves food that makes you poop a lot. Like, well beyond a normal amount....I pooped for literally hours after eating the undercooked food here. Might be awesome if I were preparing for a colonoscopy, but any other time; no. Customers be wary

i went there and the service was so good and i’m vietnamese and they understood me easily cause i’m vietnamese and don’t speak very much english and the way i’m reviewing this is english is because i’m using a translator, definitely recommend this place!

My new go-to place for Pho! The broth has a consistent depth of flavor no matter what time of day I go, unlike some other places. Portions are perfect and the service is quick & friendly! Bathrooms are super clean. Great spot!

food is good but BEWARE they give the tiniest cup of hoisin when you order to go. They could at least fill the cup up with sauce. I even asked for extra and did not receive it.

Went here with our toddler, they are very family friendly. Was able to get scissors to cut his eggrolls. Would say this is around the quality you get at Eden center restaurants (authentic-wise). My husband got the grilled pork and vermicelli, he liked it. I got bun bo hue, it was good.

20241220 New name! The Summer Rolls were not as good because it has less rice noodles and more shredded lettuce. The #2 Pho was great!
2021 I usually get the seafood pho or the seafood with fried egg noodles dish. I have tried that duck rice soup, and other dishes. Today I wanted something different and didn't see anything that stands out... until my friend pointed out the caramel pork ribs. I am so glad I got it!! It was delicious! The pork ribs has a sweet flavor because of the caramel and spicy at the same time because the sauce was filled with dried crush red pepper flakes. I can't wait to go back and ordered this dish again. When you are done, just walk to the back and pay at the register. The employees are reserve and not friendly, but professional.
