I came in tonight with my family to celebrate my boyfriend’s 30th birthday and we grabbed a pool table in the back. At first, everything was going fine. The female bartenders were friendly and made us feel welcomed.
Unfortunately, the experience was completely ruined by an employee named Jean/Jan.
After waiting a while, I finally got the bartender’s attention and asked if I could order some food. The bartender, Jean, responded by shaking his head “no” while saying “yes.” When I asked for clarification, he made an inappropriate comment: “I’m talking how you communicate.” “You women give mixed signals.”
About 15 minutes later, he targeted my sister with a similar sexist “joke” when she asked for water. We were uncomfortable enough that we immediately closed our tab and left.
Alyson was great, and the manager I spoke to on the phone, Heather, handled my complaint professionally, but I will not return to this establishment as long as Jean is employed there. That’s not the type of vibe we came here for.

If I could give them 0 I would the transgender manager here was completely unfair to regular costumer here he even show his manager power to regular ppl that are regular costumers that are not making any problems to any body just because a Dominican guy “” feel he has the right to treat ppl like he want to and the manager support him on his decision because he knows him ?! Or it was because someting was happening that we don’t know all. I know is That this dominan guy ask me for a cigarette and my laughter and when I I ask them back he was insulting ppl for no reason and then the transgender manager took his side Side of the situation and make everyone have to leave from my table ! Which is not fair !!!

We've came to Washington DC area a few times now for vacation and love eating at this establishment. The different flavors of chili are really good and the service has been great. As an Ohioan, I will say the Cincinnati is a little different than what I'm use to, but it's still good. My favorite chili flavor is the Terlingua Red.

Decent food and drinks with reasonable prices. Friendly, attentive and efficient services at a relaxing causal place. Nothing fancy but comfortable enough.
First time here, great experience! Had the Veggie and red chili over rice with onions. Quality and portions where amazing. Staff and chef where kind and welcoming. Would recommend for family's visiting or by yourself at the counter. Either way you'll have a great time!

Love coming here for the chill vibes & pool tables which never completely being used. I had the Burger & loaded fries when I went & they were good! Good customer service overall.
Does have a strong cigarette smell! But for the vibes you should be fine to settle in after a bit.

OVER THE YEARS, THE QUALITY AND TASTE OF FOOD HERE HAD NOT CHANGED. I like the simple, old-fashioned atmosphere. Servers are pleasant. We sometimes take the chili home and make spaghetti to go with it. I recommend this place.
