I came here recently on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. I got two meat samosas ($2.99 each), kabob karahi ($31.99), and and kashmari tea ($3.00). Karahi kabab is made with ground meat, cilantro, fresh ginger, and other spices. It is cooked slowly in onion and tomato gravy. masalasecret.com/chicken…It was served with naan and the serving size was very large. It could have been split into two meals. As I recall, I took some home and finished it the next day, as I usually do when I get large servings. The kashmiri tea has milk and some spices, but I don't know exactly what they were. It tasted like it had milk, cinnamon, and brown sugar, but I am unsure of the recipe. Overall, the food was very good, and the servings were big enough for two or more. The bread was also fresh and tasty. All of the ingredients were fresh and tasty. The service was very friendly. Very good food but I called several times yesterday to place a pick up order and the number listed on the site is not a working number. So once I arrived around 7:30pm to order, I was then told they are closed and aren't taking anymore orders, and of course the door wasn't locked. When I asked why they were closed so early, I was told they had received a large catering order. I'm not really sure what that had to do with myself or a running functional business. Will not be returning here no time soon!!Very disappointed customer, not very professional.

To my surprise the Halwa Puri consisted of two small containers. One with Halwa and the other with Chanas and Alu bujya on top of each other. The hard puris were like brown fried wheat rotis. Puris are white, fluffy and soft. I was disappointed and will not come here again. However the owner,server and chef (same person) handling my order is polite, friendly and respectful.

What a wonderful place to get your take-out. We dined in though. The Keema Kabab was mouth watering. We had the Best Beef Steak and Nehari. Finished with the reach tasting Kheer. They took their own time to prepare the food, but believe me every second was worth the waiting that's because the Owner himself is Chef, not some Latinos trained to be a cook as in case of most of the area restaurants around there.

A Pakistani haiku for a shameless first to review Deceptive pricing Customer service lacking Decent biryani Having had only a limited sample size of Pakistani cafes I can't say if surly service is correlated to delicious food. Lady behind the counter didn't seem apologetic when she rang up a price for a dish posted $2 cheaper on the menu and then tried to divert my drink order from mango lassi to a different flavor without explanation of whether the mango lassi was unavailable . For a restaurant that had very little foot traffic during the 15 minutes I waited on my order, one would think they would try harder to draw in more regular customers. But then again, maybe this is a joint that already has its loyal fan base and does more for catering and mobile food truck in their business model. The Pakistani biryani here is heavy on spice with tender cuts of meat on bone (too many bone fragments), but lacking the subtle sweetness of dried plums and the textural contrast of tomato, onion, and potato found in other renditions that I have tried. Serving it piping hot in a styrofoam container was perhaps the final faux pas.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Brookfield Plaza Springfield, VA. 22150 The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in our mouths and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. You can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.
