The blue berry muffins gave my a stomach bug that was so bad I had to go to the emergency room because I was throwing up so much. I don't like giving bad reviews because it could kinda hurt the business, but I gotta give it straight, and I would hate it if others had to experience the same thing that happened to me.

Maybe that was a one-off experience, but not the best first impression if you ask me, and I'm not really going to go again and find out.

I am very disappointed with my experience at J and S Bakery. This is the second time I have come, and on both visits the situation has been unacceptable. Last month I found a hair in my beans, and when I politely mentioned it to the waitress, she brushed it off and said, “Oh, that's been happening a lot lately,” without showing empathy or apologizing. I decided to give them another chance and came back today, hoping for a better experience.

Unfortunately, it was even worse. I ordered a seafood soup and to my amazement, there was a cockroach floating in the soup. When I told the same waitress, she accused me, saying, “That wasn't in your soup.” I was shocked—where else was I going to find a cockroach? Instead of apologizing, she grabbed the plate in annoyance and left without saying anything. He never returned, and I had to get up to ask for a refund because he clearly had no intention of seeing me again.

Although food tastes good, there is no justification for finding hair or insects in food. Also, the staff attitude is terrible and the customer service is terrible. I don't recommend this place; It's not worth taking that risk.

The way they treat customers and handle complaints is completely unacceptable. Please do not eat here—it's not worth the risk.

I called the day before I needed a customized cake done and they were impressively accommodating and were able to do exactly what I wanted! They were so easy to communicate with (through text & calls) and were very responsive. I would highly recommend them to anyone simply for service.

Hello, I can't give a full review but I can only tell you from my experience that I had no problem ordering food here for takeout. I did not sit and eat at my visit, but I can tell you that my entire family got really sick for a whole from eating the blueberry muffins. My kids will not visit this again. My intentions were to get some fresh bakery goods and from what I saw they are making them fresh.

I once called and a girl's attention was very bad. I would like to know her name so I can go personally to make a complaint, since she must learn to treat the client well, greet and, above all, only respond to what the client says or asks. It was that girl. Other times other girls have answered me and been friendly.
