friendly staff & good jerk chicken, I'd ask for the jerk on the side. Massive portions!!! The chicken is so tender both the jerk and curry chicken . Love this place

My gosh, the food here is incredible. I don’t usually step outside my comfort zone with new cuisines, but I’m genuinely glad I tried this spot. It is a true mom and pop place, with the owner cooking from his own family recipes, and you can taste the love in every bite.

The flavors hit perfectly: fresh, spicy, sweet, and bold without feeling heavy. Portions are generous, prices are better than the big chain restaurants, and the quality is on another level.

I am so glad I finally have something I know I will enjoy when I bring the family to the mall. This place makes the trip worth it.

I can only comment on service. I have been twice and no one ever asked me if I needed help. No they were not busy. Looked right at me and kept not helping !

I give them business almost 2x a week (no exaggeration) and drive from NorthLaurel just to get my favorites which is a list: jerk ribs, jerk chicken, curry chicken, salmon, and award winning macaroni and cheese! They never disappoint and go over and beyond with samples before you even purchase, as to avoid ANY negative feedback because when you pay, you already know what to expect. Each and every time I visit I am amazed they are located in a food court at the mall because their authenticity and flavor belongs in a 5 star restaurant. To the owners of JIB, please do not move based on my feedback because I love your prices as well 😂!

This place is really good, i was pleasantly surprised. The mac and cheese was phenomenal and beyond expectations. My spouse loved their jerk chicken. 10/10 would recommend!

The worst Jamaican food I've ever had. Everything was spicy with no flavor. The curry, stewed chicken, rice and peas, and cabbage had no flavor. Don't get me started on the macaroni. Nothing Jamaican about it. The only good things were the coco bread and plantains. Mad that i spent so much money on food that ended up in the trash. Will stick to going to my in-laws or make my own

EDWARD made my entire experience amazing top to bottom.This was my first time coming and I have nothing but positive things to say due to my experience with him before I even got helped. There was a lady not being so kind and giving him a hard time and he handled it so professionally and with Grace, and with a smile on his face and helped her solve her problem after that he helped me and he was very helpful as far as my questions and offering me samples because it was my first time and I really wasn’t sure what to get. He didn’t become frustrated waiting on me to make a choice instead gave suggestions and really made my entire day on top of that the food is absolutely amazing. I will be back again and I hope that Edward is helping me.

At some point they changed up their cooking method for the beef/chicken patties and now this place is all around mediocre.

Definitely can't wait to return for more.
Flavors are amazing! Beans and rice, ox tail, burger, and lemonade.

My girl friend and I went out to the mall for a girls trip. The cashier with the glasses on greeted us kindly and recommended his favorites. Everyone behind the counter worked swiftly and on task, so we got our food pretty fast.
We got the jerk chicken, mac and cheese, and the plantains. The chicken and mac and cheese both had a slight twang to them, complementing each other. The plantains were sweet and soft, which tasted like home cooked food.
Hidden Gem! Will definitely come back.

New location near the escalators at Springfield Town Center mall. Not fast food so it takes a bit of time to get the food BUT it’s freshly cooked delicious food! Worth the wait. Got the Jerk Burger/ Yucca Fries and Jerk Chicken/ Mac and cheese.
