The Maggiano's chain is one of my favorite restaurants in the U.S. Our server, Kelly, made our experience amazing!
Overall great experience! Delicious food with a wait staff that was top notch. Great value for the price. Everyone we saw was leaving with a take home bag as the food portions are above average.
It was not that busy and it took nearly a hr to get the food to the table. I was in a party of 6 celebrating a birthday. Got steak it was only ok. Warm not hot and missing seasoning, all the rest of the food was very good. I cannot say I will go back to this place based on my experience.
We have been fans of Maggiano's for years and have always like the experience. Food is always tasty and service is good most of the time. We had good service on this visit. But I am disappointed in the changes to the menu over about the last 1-2 years. Prices have gone up a bit which I understand is to be expected somewhat but some entrees, like the veal parmesan, have become quite pricey. They no longer offer eggplant parmesan, an Italian classic, on the menu. They no longer offer the opportunity for a take home pasta and a good price which was a signature offering for them. They also eliminated the Marco's meal for two altogether. It used to be a very economical choice for two people for a great meal with leftover food for another meal. The food remains great, but the changes I just discussed detract from the experience and make it not the "go to" place for Italian food that it once was. Who did I need to contact at the corporate level about these changes?
Great food and atmosphere! Very accommodating to Gluten allergies! I'll continue to eat here when I'm in town!
We had a wonderful experience celebrating our daughter's 20th birthday. The garlic truffle bread and marinara sauce are an absolute must try. I ordered the salad with salmon. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was clean and calm. I would highly recommend.

Overall, our event was excellent aside from two issues.
First, take home containers were passed out at the end of each course of food. They were supposed to pack up the leftover food for us to take home after the event had ended. This was very tacky!
The second problem was that the waiters served only half the food at the beginning of each course. Only to serve the remainder once everyone had completed the course. This gave the impression that there was not enough food only to have food left over at the end of the meal.
This all greatly affected the overall meal experience greatly!
Love the restaurant , came here for an evening dinner on a Friday. The waitress we had wasn't as attentive us just the two of us compared to the other tables. I would say maybe the bar minimum is what he gave if that. Food was amazing and came out pretty quickly. Only complaint would be service
Reserved corner booth seating 1.5 hours before arrival at 7 PM. Arrived early to see a corner booth being given to another group. Lady Manager tried to make up for our disappointment by granting one free appetizer. The food preparation was horrendous. Not the usual high end food preparation we are accustomed to experiencing at Maggiano's, Springfield, VA. on 06.10.25. Lady manager did not check on us during our meal. Unusual for this Maggiano's restaurant.

Our server was excellent- she was attentive and came by often to check on us. The bartender also came by to deliver our drinks - he was friendly and the drinks were excellent. Food was great - love the newer menu that they have. We got the zucchini fritte and it's the best we've had. Shrimp scampi, chicken Marsala, branzino, & 4-cheese ravioli were all delicious. We also enjoyed the warm apple crostada for dessert. We love coming here and will continue to do so!
Decided to celebrate my birthday at Maggiano's! Jeslie was very kind, professional, and attentive! The food was Amazing!
We went to Maggiano's Springfield to celebrate Mother's Day.I purposely made the reservation allowing 2.15 hours between that and another event that we needed to be at nearby. There was 3 of us.We were seated within 5 minutes of our reservation. Upon n being seated we ordered water and were given bread.The menu was prefix for the holiday. The bread arrived with literally enough oil on the plate to service two small pieces of bread. We asked our server for more.He came out with a plate full of shaved cheese and little oil.Twenty minutes had passed since we were seated and no appetizers. He apologized and said that they would soon be out.Meanwhile he refilled all of the waters around us and not ours.He apologized again at the half hour mark. We sit and wait watching other servers carry food around us. He comes to out table again and I tell him about the other event. Water spills while he is away.. He comes to tell us that the manager said that he could bring everything of our out at once (appetizers, main course, and dessert) not ideal but ok. While he is at the table (this is the 40 minute mark),we ask for something to wipe up the water. He goes away saying something about wet wipes. I looked over and saw him standing at the cashier station. That was the last straw. We got up and left.It was busy and Mother's Day but we had reservation. We were to get the same appetizers as everyone else. Waters were never refilled.It was the worst service that I have ever had there. We usually love it. It was too late to go elsewhere so, my Mother's Day dinner was ruined.
It was our wedding anniversary and when we arrived, the host sat us in a booth in the quiet part of the restaurant and waited on us as we got settled to provide menus. Our waitress arrived promptly, asked what we were celebrating and remembered there was an allergy mentioned in our reservation, provided complimentary champagne and light dessert to celebrate. The food was fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. You shouldn't have to spend an arm and a leg for top tier service. We will be returning. Compliments to the entire staff!!!!!
Took us 30 mins to get bread and 45 mins to have our orders taken. We asked another waiter to find our waitress and she then alerted the manager who never even came to our table to apologize. They changed their menu, getting rid of favorites like Marco's Meal For Two and raised their prices. A plate of spaghetti now costs $25 ! Just not worth the price
