Maggie McFly's l Springfield

My husband and I went there to celebrate our 24th anniversary. We have never been there before. We had a wonderful evening in part by our waiter Marco. He was friendly and helped us decide on our meals. My husband chose the prime rib and I chose Chicken and garlic pasta. Our meal was topped off by ice cream with chocolate syrup. We enjoyed it. They were short staffed but you wouldn’t have known it. We had a great evening and will definitely be going back again in the future. Thank you Marco.

Really wish I could give this place the five stars it deserves. The food was delicious, drinks were delectable, bar tender and other staff were very friendly and courteous. But my waitress…. She must have disappeared to the depths of Narnia because it took 45 min just to get our drinks and 90 min to get our food. In that time- I got my own refill drink at the bar (waited 5 min), more napkins, to go boxes, and the check.

Maggie McFly's has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants because of the variety of the menu.

The booths were nice but the cushioned round booths are where I want to sit next time we go. I was pleased to see mocktinis and there were so many interesting things on the menu I just couldn't decide on what I wanted, so I stuck with pumpkin ravioli off the seasonal menu since I might never see it again. It was great and the tortellini and chicken that my husband got was amazing. I forget what it was called but it had a snake bite flavor to it. (Just a little spicy)

I absolutely love Maggie McFlys! We have been coming here for a few years now and it never disappoints - we have brought both of our parents here, too! Some menu standouts: I’m OBSESSED with the turkey burger and especially their gluten free cheese bun. They always accommodate me when I ask for broccolini as my side instead of fries. The broccolini is delicious. I also love their home made honey mustard which I make sure to snag. My parents reported last time (a few weeks ago lol - we are regulars) that their l Mac n cheese is to die for! Prices will seem kinda high but portions are decent and everything is worth it, IMO. Before going gluten free I have had the soft pretzel which is delicious; their lettuce wraps are also delicious.

Lately we have been getting take out (two little ones at home) and I want to note that the service, positive attitude, etc was amazing. I forgot to mention no pickles (which was 100% my fault to not mention it bc burgers always come with it) but I mentioned it and upon picking up our food Jehan (or Behan - now I can’t remember), who could have made me seem ridiculous, instead said he understood how pickles can leave a taste on a burger and was so empathetic and kind! My husband also remarked on how especially nice the staff (he was the only one we interacted with) was this time around! They were slammed, too, so he could have not gone out of his way to be nice but he did! This makes such a huge difference with takeout when there is no waiter or waitress.

I’ve always enjoyed their food but this is the first time I really thought about leaving a review, because of the kindness of the staff and good service.

The food was a bit underwhelming. There are some great ideas on the menu, but it’s so extensive that it’s hard to imagine everything can be done really well. The service was lovely, and the atmosphere was too.
