The food is like your normal Chinese restaurant, but the meat is halal. I ordered over the phone to pick up lunch. I unfortunately did not clarify that I wanted a lunch portion. Upon my arrival I was charged $32 for Beef Broccoli and Combination Fried Rice and was informed that they do not serve lunch portions. Since I am the only one eating and did not want to take it back to work, I stated out loud that I would be dinning in since the food was more than I expected. They then said it would be $5 in order for me to dine in??? Who charges for you just to sit down and eat. I ordered a drink and everything, so It's not like I needed a waiter. The food was good, but due to the dine in and lunch portions not being available I'd rather stick to my usual Chinese place.

Came here for the first time for their iftar buffet and it was amazing! The food was so tasty and me and my husband loved every dish. The owner was so kind and went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. I really do appreciate a halal chinese restaurant near my house! There have been issues with food and miscommunication but its a reliable place. I reccomend when you want some decent Chinese.
So this was an interesting and memorable experience but not in the way you'd imagine it go at a nice Chinese restaurant. Today I enjoyed an onion party here when I mistakenly entered this establishment. I saw the incredibly long menu (which for some reason has no descriptions for anything?!), and decided on a chili chicken and chefs special chicken. I was in for a treat. What I got was two bowls of cold thick sliced onions and peppers. In fact there was nothing chili or special about either dish. It was a tasteless, flavorless, embarrassment of a meal, which the restaurant should be quite frankly ashamed of. I would not recommend this place to anyone who likes tasty food. Take your hard earned money elsewhere, to a place that might appreciate your patronage.
Long time customer, but when I complain about the fried rice was very untested and Not fresh, the owner was rudely replied that next time checked even though if was delivered….no courtesy of customer
I order about $100 food and I asked for one extra sauce the owner said you have to pay for sauce, this is ridiculous and that's very cheap customer service she don't know the customer service and she was so rud, I got so upset, I never go again.

Do not go there. You can go if you want to waste money and get overcharged for a below par food. Its a rip off. Expired drinks are served. Food is okay but service sucks.

Prices can be a bit ridiculous for certain items but the food, is more often than not, amazing. It's unfortunate that a decent halal option seems to price gouge especially being in the suburbs (~30 mins outside DC). If you enjoy spicy, flavorful food, this spot is definitely worth a try! Service is solid though. (Although I usually order takeout rather than dining in)
