I recently ate at Mike’s in Springfield, VA — and let me tell you, it’s one of those local spots that’s always buzzing with folks who seem to love it just as it is. I ordered the crab cake sandwich (decent, not mind-blowing), fries (crispy enough to not complain), and a house salad (fresh but nothing fancy).
To drink, I stuck with water and treated myself to a Shirley Temple, a childhood classic I still love, plus a glass of prosecco instead of dessert, because truth be told, I’m just not into cakes or pies.
The atmosphere? Busy. Loud chatter, people coming and going — you’ll feel the energy if that’s your vibe. The service was friendly enough but a bit slow, likely because they were packed to the brim.
All in all, I’m giving Mike’s a solid 3 stars for food, atmosphere, and service. It’s fine if you’re local or passing through.
One of my favorite restaurants in town, love their monterey salad
Me and my family had lunch we all was very very satisfied!!
Great place, food, atmosphere, and customer service!
We’re traveling through and we thoroughly enjoyed the food and entire experience.
Extremely Disappointing and Disturbing Experience especially for families with kids. Unprofessional Staff treated us in a bad way.
Awesome place to eat....that's why it's so difficult to find parking.

The filet mignon was amazing, and we can't wait to stop by again. Please make a reservation ahead, especially on the weekend.

This restaurant continues to blow me away with their menu options and delicious food there a little bread balls are to die for if you need a good food, pick me up head to this place
Parking: Parking is real tough at this location. They do offer optional parking at the bank next-door after hours. That lot was also full when I went and had to park across the street at the strip mall.

My food was EXTREMELY SALTY. And throughout my meal pieces of the chicken and the pasta had a purple tint. I was so confused. Both issues ruined what could have been a great meal and a great review.

My steak was delicious. I was a bit disappointed though. I was dining with a young man with special needs which comes with eating disorders. He only eats a few things. Many restaurants will accommodate his tastes so I requested a BLT sandwich for him. It was not on the menu but thought they would have those ingredients in their kitchen. Alas, was told they couldn't make it for us.
Otherwise, the restaurant was fine and I enjoy eating there.
Dietary restrictions: As mentioned in review, would not accommodate special needs.

Mikes is part of the GAR brand and it has been here for a long time.
It is well run and has amazing food and drinks.

If your just hungry!
You will not be disappointed here!
I especially like the ribs, the pork chop and the salmon salad.
The Tex max eggrolls are excellent as well.
The flourless walful is also amazing!
