We visited an hour before closing. Despite the late hour, the staff was polite and the manager was kind. The food was tasty, the atmosphere was family-friendly, and the service was excellent. Unfortunately, the leftovers did not keep well.

The person who brought me my food curbside was excellent! Out of all the Outback’s (and I’ve been to every single one in Northern VA) Outback on Backlick in Springfield was the best customer service - 3 out of 3 times!!

It was my first Outback, and it was super good. I was scared to order a piece of meat because I was thinking of poor quality and I was wrong! The meat was delicious, cooked exactly like I asked for. Generous portion. Price more than reasonable. My wife burger a d entree was also very good. Our waiter was very kind and professional.
Very good surprise, we will come back for sure!

In the past, I gave it a negative review, but they have completely turned things around Services. Excellent, the food is excellent. It’s warm. It’s Hot. It’s fresh. I strongly recommend everyone to come back to Outback in Springfield.

Everything went pretty well until we got home to realize that the server unchanged us for the desserts and then didn't give us all of them we asked to be boxed up to go. We tried calling back to let them know about the missing desserts (I chucked the loss of the $3.00 upcharge) they acted like they didn't know what I was talking about. I wont be returning to this location.

Baked potatoes are rubbed with salt, so don't plan on eating the potato skin. Steaks cooked to order-- a medium was not over cooked. Meals are reliable here, but not exceptional.
AC was not working well on a 100 degree day and blooming onions looked and tasted way over cooked. Only good thing was the Fosters can of beer which I could have purchased at a grocery store for much cheaper. Looks like a place getting ready to shut down soon.
