I am writing to formally address a disappointing experience at your store located at 8938 Burke Lake Rd, Virginia, on September 9, 2025, at approximately 5:45 PM. I asked a staff member if the regular coffee was fresh, and they assured me it was. Based on this, I ordered and paid for a regular coffee . Upon tasting it, I found the coffee to be of poor quality and far from fresh. When I brought this to the same employee’s attention, they responded dismissively, stating the store was closing soon and they would “dump it.” No apology or refund was offered. Instead, I was required to pay for a replacement caffe latte, which I found unacceptable. This misrepresentation and lack of customer service have significantly impacted my trust in your brand. I request a formal apology and a full refund for the coffee $3.50 or a store credit to restore my confidence. Please contact me to resolve this matter. I have the receipt and can provide additional details if needed. I look forward to your prompt response.

This location had more than enough seats inside and outside. I enjoy Peets but felt the other location closer to me was not as friendly. We will change our coffee run to here

I ordered a small size drink and was confused about the fact that it cost the same when I ordered a medium size the last time. Not trying to save $1.50, but simply wanting to understand the difference. While inquiring about the difference with the manager(I think that was the manager. I did not request to speak with a manager.), the cashier who already seemed annoyed when I ordered my drink, came over to intervene. He was short with his words and cold. Again, I was calm and respectful so I don’t know what his deal was. The barrister and another employee also stood there watching me. That’s FOUR people watching me like I’m some crazy person attempting to cheat them. I’m not rich but I think I can afford a $7 drink! I merely wanted to understand the cup size and price difference. I felt very uncomfortable and almost shameful because I was completely misunderstood. I simply told the manager I understood his explanation of the difference and left. I will not be returning to this location.

Phenomenal service. Their delightful pastries remind me of high-end treats I've had the pleasure of sampling in Dupont Circle in DC, Boston's North End, Little Italy in Baltimore, Montreal, Doha, Bavaria, Marrakesh and Amman.

The coffee is really good. The people are really friendly. The staff is quick and professional. The decor is very nice. The music and the vibe are great. The place could be MUCH CLEANER. Nothing major, but enough to make me uncomfortable staying to co-work. It’s like it just needs a woman’s touch so to speak. The floors need to be swept & mopped, and everything looks like it needs to be wiped off, and the smell could be friendlier.

It's my favorite coffee shop. Never fails to make delicious drinks. The sparkling grapefruit is probably one of the best sparkling drinks I ever had! (Make sure to stir well)
We ordered coffees to the house, our latte was over an inch empty so we called. The manager advised that is how they have been told to do it.... I get Peet's delivered all the time at home & have never heard this nor has a manager ever basically told me my $10 drink isn't suppose to be full.

I love the way Peet’s coffee tastes compared to Starbucks and I wish there was one closer to me! Some weekends, I’ll drive the 20-25 min one way to hit up this location. It’s in a pretty busy shopping center and has lots of customers. Everything tastes pretty good, but i do have one small complaint. Sometimes, the drinks aren’t filled all the way to the top. The pic shows a strawberry tea drink. While I popped a straw in it, i did not drink any of it before i i took the pic. There’s a solid 1” left to the top of the cup. Since it’s a tea drink… can more tea be added to make the cup full? It’s a $7 drink
