I like this place because their chicken it is fresh, lightly coated, & it tastes good plus they have good sides options. Good sized dining room as well.

The food is delicious but the service in all pollo campero locations is terrible. I believe they know how busy they are so it should be more accurate and faster. All of the locations are super busy and the waiting time for an order is crazy.

First some disclaimers, I am not Guatemalan nor particularly fond of Central or South cuisine in general. So maybe it’s no surprise that I don’t like the chicken here that much. In truth I was caught up by the hoopla by media influencers touting this chicken as a threat to both Popeye’s and KFC (it’s not). I got both the grilled version and the fried version. Flavor aside, the grilling and frying result was not the best. Both types yielded chicken that was a bit dry. The Guatemalan spices made it a bit different so that was good. I also kinda got a fun Pollos Hermanos vibe of the Breaking Bad / Better Get Saul series haha.
