The food had great potential. The staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was nice. There were some decorations for Christmas.
We got the sopes which are small corn tortilla bowls with steak, cilantro, beans, and cheese. It was flavorful and tasty.
Unfortunately, a few things threw it off: the food was lukewarm when it came out, the steak was extremely chewy, and the rice was underwhelming with freezer-burnt veggies.

We had a variety of items (pupusas, tamales, tacos) and everything tasted incredible. We'll made and tasted very fresh. The restaurant is also very clean and well decorated. Glad we stopped on our way through.

Everything was delicious. Great service and very clean establishment. Pupusas were bomb, bien rellenitas. Sopa de mondongo was perfect, and yuca con chicharrón was delicious and crispy.

pupusas were really really good and i know i will be back very soon !
We visited this restaurant yesterday for my father’s 79th birthday. We’re from the Northeast and were visiting DC, looking for some authentic Spanish food. After leaving the Smithsonian Aerospace Museum, we picked this place from search results.
It was fairly quiet for a Thursday around 6 PM. The ambience is nice, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The menu is extensive, offering not just Salvadoran dishes but also Honduran, Mexican, and Peruvian options—very cool. We tried the horchata, which was excellent and not too sweet.
The food was very good, with decent portion sizes, though prices seemed a little high. It did take a bit of time to arrive, but it looked freshly made. Overall, we had a very enjoyable experience and would recommend it.

The food was good. Lots of great options to choose from. One of the meals we ordered was the birria breakfast. It was good, only thing that I didn’t enjoy was that there was too much fat in the meat that they served. Other than that, the horchata and melón & pineapple drink were tasteful! Maybe the restaurant doesn’t look pleasant from the outside but inside is nicely decorated.

Tried this place because of all the great reviews.
We got maybe 10 different dishes and two standouts.
The pupusas were delicious. They are house made and so are the accompiments. They have salsa flights.
Also, highly recommend the garlic parm wings. Very generous with the garlic and parm topping. Strong flavors
Great presentation overall.
Would go back for pupusas and for the garlic parm wings
