This place is the best Indian restaurant I've ever been to. That's including my favorite places on Devon St in Chicago, a well-known Indian district. Saran tops that and it's not even close. Everything is exceptional. Drop everything and come here.

Had the worst experience of my life. Lady at front was sweet at first and afterwards when we ask if we have another order coming, she said No, I didn’t charge you for that in front of everyone in restaurant. Even though we have asked for it , she forgot to note it down. Instead of saying it nicely, like oh I’m sorry I forgot to note it down, let me bring you right away she yelled no I didn’t charge you for that in front of everyone and my guests. She said it 4 times Until I said ok please get it I’ll pay.Our Dosas were raw, Malai kofta was the worst I have ever had made of ketchup. One thing I like was Samosa.Point of this post is to tell the owner that please treat your customers with respect , just simple nice words could have changed our experience completely.

I saw good reviews for this place and tried it out. I had Chole Bhature and the taste of Chole was really bad. The worst Chole I ever had. The rawa dosa was good but the sambhar was okay. Never going back.

The Only All Vegetarian Punjabi Cuisine in the DC metro Area. Small and Humble place with Excellent Home Made Quality And Fresh Indian Food. They also have South Indian Dosas.

My first time eating here and I had a hair in my food. I showed it to management and was told that they did not know where the hair came from. Meanwhile no one in the kitchen was wearing a hairnet. Not cool.

I went to Saran for the first time this weekend. I got pumpkin curry, saag paneer, aloo paratha, and samosas. Everything was delicious and the owners were really nice. I would definitely recommend this place. Food was excellent. I'll be coming back!

Wow! This place blew us away. We’re not vegetarians, but are trying to eat less meat and all the food was so hearty and flavorful. Portions and prices are great. Looking forward to making this a regular spot!

Good food, and the people working were really nice. Reasonable prices and decent portions. The rose lassi wasn't terribly good, but that might have just been my taste preferences. Mango lassi was fine. I had their palak paneer, and while not anything spectacular it was still quite tasty.

Bhaingan bharta, mixed veg, aloo gobi, malai kofta and mixed appetizer plate are some of our favorites. We haven't found another vegetarian Indian spot that tops this place. Check them out!
