This place has some of the best food I've ever had. The fish, the chicken, the waffle, all fire! All the sides are amazing as well, the creamed spinach and mac and chesse. Have banana pudding to top it off! Lemon pepper tenders are delicious. Can never decide what to get, I want it all!
Southern Style chicken and waffles Springfield wasn't all that to me. I ordered the whiting and tenders combo, and the Mac and cheese, and coleslaw. The Mac and cheese was really good. The whiting ( skin on ) was fried very hard. The tenders were tasty, but they too were fried very hard. The coleslaw was just okay.
I dined in and the food and service was great. It was my first time there and they talked me through the menu and gave me recommendations. I tried the spicy tenders with a waffle and Mac and cheese. All the food was good, including the sauces.
