Southern Style chicken and waffles Springfield wasn't all that to me. I ordered the whiting and tenders combo, and the Mac and cheese, and coleslaw. The Mac and cheese was really good. The whiting ( skin on ) was fried very hard. The tenders were tasty, but they too were fried very hard. The coleslaw was just okay.
I may have just landed from Colorado (land of not the best tasting food) but I know good food when I taste it. It was soooo good I really enjoyed it. It’s not the healthiest choice but I don’t feel bad after eating it (I try not to have too much greasy food). I am definitely coming back🤣🤣
This is our second time at this location and the service was top tier and the food was even better. The food was made fresh each time and we will definitely be back. Our daughter who is a picky eater even loves the chicken and waffles! Definitely our Tuesday go to!
