I just love the Greater American Restaurant chain. It’s always great food and great service. My friend and I came in this evening to give the place a try for the first time. Unfortunately, they ran out of the pulled pork, so instead we tried the ribs, pulled chicken and sliced brisket. The food was decent and the sauces are what made the food so much better. I want to give big kudos to the tall gentleman behind the counter that was helping serve. We didn’t quite catch his name but he was from Louisiana. He gave great recommendations on the food to try and the sauces that best complement each meat. He was very attentive and did all that he could to make sure we had a pleasant experience. We will be back again and keep up the great work.

I'm not a bbq snobb but eating bbq has never made me this sad. The meat alone was bad and bland especially the brisket, the sauce couldn't save it. The corn bread was soggy and so were the French fries which also tasted freezer burnt.
If it didnt take me until getting home to discover this I'd return the food for a refund. The trash can won this time but I'll never be back.

Food was decent. Told the cashier that I was eating there. They put my food in to-go containers. Also told me they ran out of mac-n-cheese after I already paid for it and sat down They said to pick another side and to hurry. The place was not that busy and several tables and booths were vacant.

Food was excellent but the portion size is definitely questionable. it's a very small serving size for the price that you pay
Still a great BBQ spot but most recently they have decided to decrease the amount of meats that they serve for the price. You now get a considerably smaller portion which was shocking to a consistent customer. I always thought their portions amounts were just fair not great but now it’s getting ridiculous like everything else😕

I went with the choice brisket. I know you have people who slice don't know real BBQ. One of my slices was pure fat. I guess its what you get in the NCR. Brisket was good, pull pork was good, cornbread was modern, cake like, and delicious. Not southern cornbread. Coleslaw was market value. I would comeback.

Deserves better than its current rating. Prime brisket was juicy and fantastic. Jalapeño sausage gave the meal some heat. Pulled pork was solid. Mac and cheese had a great breadcrumb crust. Employee recommended the fries too so snagged those and wasn’t disappointed. Tough to say anything bad about it. Music and vibes inside were right up my alley too. Would recommend!
