Incorrect Posted Pricing & Customer Treatment- Code Violation

This location’s digital menu still lists the kids’ meal at $5. We ordered full lunches for the family, including the kids’ meal, and the staff refused to honor the posted price. Me and multiple other customers saw the price and pointed directly at the menu, clearly surprised it was being dismissed.

The staff were already short and unfriendly before any pricing question came up. When we asked for clarification, the tone escalated immediately. One employee also spoke sharply to my 6-year-old to hurry up choosing toppings, even though the line was not being held up.

Advertising goods or services at a given price and refusing to sell at that price is illegal. Management should correct the signage and retrain on tone and communication

§ 18.2-217. Advertising merchandise, etc., for sale with intent not to sell at price or terms advertised; prima facie evidence of violation.
(a) Any person, firm, corporation or association who in any manner advertises or offers for sale to the public any merchandise, goods, commodity, service or thing with intent not to sell, or with intent not to sell at the price or upon the terms advertised or offered, shall be guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor.

(b) In any prosecution or civil action under this section, the refusal by any person, firm, corporation or association or any employee, agent or servant thereof to sell, or the refusal to sell at the price or upon the terms advertised or offered, any merchandise, goods, commodity, service or thing advertised or offered for sale to the public, shall be prima facie evidence of a violation of this section; provided, that this subsection shall not apply when it is clearly stated in the advertisement or offer by which such merchandise, goods, commodity, service or thing is advertised or offered for sale to the public, that the advertiser or offeror has a limited quantity or amount of such merchandise, goods, commodity, service or thing for sale, and the advertiser or offeror at the time of such advertisement or offer did in fact have at least such quantity or amount for sale.

They closed the shop before 10 PM. I even saw workers inside, but they refused to open the door and told me there were only 10 minutes left. This is lazy work behavior. I will go tomorrow to speak with the manager. I really hate seeing this kind of work attitude in the workplace.

At approximately 4 pm on Saturday, When I went to the subway I placed an order for two footlong. The spanish lady put the footlong in the microwave with all the vegetables. Then when she is ready to ring up she put both footlong in one bag. Which I requested her to put separately. She said her store manager told her to put all the food in one bag. It doesn’t matter is all is smashed. He was rude and unprofessional.

I ordered 1- 6 inch meatball sub.One plain, one loaded. I ordered online and picked up. Got home ,both were plain. I also ordered 4 cookies, 2 chocolate chip and 2 raspberry cheese cake. I received 2 Dbl chocolate chip, and 2 raspberry. I called and was told that the person I was talking to did not make the subs, and that they would let someone know. This is unacceptable. Disappointed

I always get the same thing at Subway so I can pretty well judge one outlet from the next. This one stands in it's own building and the man who made my sub was attentive and not stingy with the ingredients. He was friendly and professional and the sub was delicious! Also, lots of parking spots here, so it was very convenient.

The service was HORRIBLE ! I tried to place an order online, and it did not work. It kept on spinning. I walked to the store to notify them. The manager who was on his phone asked me, "What do you want me to do if it didn't work"
Such people should not work in customer service.

Just watch who makes your food . Just went and got a 6 inch . The guy pulled my sandwich out the oven and places my food UNDER the oven so he can look in the back real quick . He always likes to add extra cheese onto sandwich’s WITHOUT ASKING YOU and then automatically charge you for it even though you did NOT ask for extra products . When you go to check out he grabs the tip jar and puts it closer to you . Basically tell you to tip him .

I would not eat at this subway again I end up having to leave because the service was so bad. Is it ready? Is my car ready to walk out there because she didn’t have the pizza listed on the menu and then she add her own prices she wanted to charge me 50 Cent for cheese and I was like .I had the misfortune of going into the store. They have none of their other items listed that they sell like their pizza and things that nature the manager in there was extremely hostile. She didn’t engage. She didn’t say hi welcome to Subway. She was just absolutely rude when the server was making sandwiches, she proceeded to start dumping out bread, trays, and getting in his line of path of making what it was I required. I ordered a pizza even though they didn’t have the price or the pizza listed on the actual menu, it was not listed anywhere in the restaurant.. I would not eat here
