They have a halal sign outside but I asked to confirm, I was told only the dark and white chicken is halal nothing else. Halal menu should be specified.

I tried this place two times and it’s a definite no go for me. I can’t give a place any stars for food and service when I can see the employees in the back eating out of the food. The cashiers were nice, but they weren’t the ones fixing my food. This happened both times that I tried this restaurant.

I wish these people just had some customer service. I placed an order over the phone and they answer the phone laughing. In the middle of the order they put me on hold, not sure to laugh more or take an order. Whatever the case may be, I only had one request, please make the fries crispy because they come out soggy. So I asked to have them extra crispy, the lady just said OK OK anything else? Of course, when I get home, the fries are basically mush. I know this seems like a petty thing to complain about, but when the only request I have was not accommodated, It’s irritating. Especially after I just worked 12 hours.

I’ve passed this place a million times and never paid attention until now. Fantastic Peruvian chicken experience: the 1/2 white meat chicken, yucca fries, and plantains were all so flavorful. My sister ordered the chicken saltados over yucca friends (instead of regular fries—pro move IMO) which was flavorful and good.

The staff is friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is clean. I won’t be sleeping on this place anymore. Can’t wait to come back!
