I've had Halal Guys at the Springfield location for quite a bit of time now since they first opened, but it seems that my last visit on 01/13/17 for lunch had to be the worst experience thus far. FOOD POISONING.
At first I questioned that it may have been something I had ate the night before. Struck with unending trips to the restroom, sharp staggering pain, nausea, and fatigue; all attributed to what may have been under cooked meat or possibly spoiled sauces, had definitely earned me a trip to the hospital.
I'd recommend skipping over this location in fear they may continue to server undercooked meat

Great taste and filling portions! The chicken and gyro over rice is always fresh and flavorful. White sauce is 🔥, red sauce is super spicy, so use with caution! Perfect quick meal when you’re hungry.

I'll rate it a ten out of three! The store manager was incredibly rude and disrespectful She is not serving us or responding to our questions, and she is blaming racism! I hope this doesn't happen to any other customers and that they are treated equally! I hope this person improves themselves, but I'm not sure how she's a manager . The reason for the argument incident was that I discovered a cockroach in my food, and when I tried to explain it to her, she didn't believe me, despite the fact that I had evidence that it was the second time, and she refused to give me another platter. I hope this person gets better.more over she’s giggling and laughing with other customer she’ll she knew and from my login of view I think she give them free thank you!

I called 6 times and nobody answered. Also, this specific Halal guys location gives you a smaller portion when you order through Doordash, everytime i order from them i have to call and ask them to give me the portion i paid for and not the portion they would give someone if they’re not looking… it’s a shame i really like Halal guys.
Husband just brought this home for dinner. Very good. And every time we go, the staff is kind. After a long day working it feels nice to be treated with respect for anyone. Also fair serving size. Thank you guys!

I am being customer with this location more than years but there is two new employees come that don’t know how the things works, I always get platter and this time amour of food they put in platter looks like they are giving for free like really less than standard this needs to be fixed, I don’t want to change this location unless I have to

I ordered falafel and a gyro through Doordash. Both items were supposed to come with sauce and there wasn't a drop in sight. Not even on the side. I'm exerting myself trying to swallow my meal, and I was actually excited to try this place out for the first time. :-/

Food is great for the price. Service is a little lacking not certain if it's from poor training or the the noise, it's very loud even with no other customers in the dining room.

This was my first experience with this type of food, and it was good! Very filling, the single protein platter was more than I could eat in one sitting, and I'm a rather large eater. I would go back. However, I would say The Halal Guys are comparable to the Little Ceasars or Domino's of their place in the industry. If you want to play it safe with a commercialized version of Halal food, then this is it. Please don't take that as a negative, Little Ceasars has its place in the market & it's time for when necessary, and so does The Halal Guys.
