Because of Covid-19 , i find myself stopping in for a happy hour drimk more often now because their strict enforcement of Covid-19. Your temperature will be taken prior to service and if you don't wear a mask walking within the establishment their customers will bark at you. My wife and I went to The Mixing Bowl on a Monday night. We were greeted by a person who seemed to be the manager, and he was very friendly. At the table, my wife had a cocktail and I had a beer. We also ordered the fried oysters appetizer. My wife's cocktail was poured tableside, which I liked. The fried oysters were wonderful. They were very delicately breaded, and lightly cooked. This is a nice casual neighborhood restaurant popular with the locals. We had pork chops and salmon--both entrees were tasty and well prepared. The chops were cooked perfectly, moist, and the hunter sauce was delicious. The mashed potatoes were rich and tasted homemade. The salmon was moist and well seasoned. Service was friendly and efficient.
