The smoothies taste very watered down. I honestly debated going back in to get money back. They taste like fruit flavored water

Please, if you are allergic to food, don't go there. This people can send you straight to the hospital.
So, I went there the other day around 10am. I just had the exact time to stop by and get a smoothie before work.
I ordered a smoothie to a very rude cashier with his long face like he hates to be there.
I ordered it without turbinada (sugar) and with just a little banana not the whole portion.
The lady making the smoothie was not sure how to make it but, she finally did it.
When they gave me the smoothie, it looked different than what it was supposed to look like. I noticed it was pink color and it was supposed to look cream color.
I went back and asked the lady why it was pink? She didn't speak English but she told me in Spanish, "It's because of the strawberry"
I was like "what strawberry? She said "yes the strawberry "
I was so mad, that I couldn't believe she said that. She, was the lady making the smoothies and she put strawberries into a smoothie that doesn't have strawberries :-0
I asked her, why did you put strawberries ? It's supposed to have bananas not strawberries.
She didn't know what to say and the rude cashier guy was ignoring the situation.
I requested my money back, another lady popped out from the kitchen and said " what happened? I explained the situation and she said " ooo it's pink because of the strawberries"
At that time, I was like :-o I couldn't believe it was happening to me.
I told her, "the smoothie I ordered, doesn't have strawberry! What are you talking about?
She said " ooh I can make another one"
I got so mad because none of those people know anything about the menu.
They just put what they want or what they think.
I requested my money back again and the lady said " sorry, I can't give you the money back"
At that point, I was so in shock that I didn't believe what I was listening.
I breathed deeply and asked her, why?
She said, I need authorization from the owner. I was like, are you the manager?
She said " no I wish but I am not"
I told her " I don't care who you are, I need my money right now"
She said " Let me call the owner to ask but, I don't know if he will pick up the phone because he is busy right now"
I breathed deeply again and asked God to give self control at that time.
Thank God he picked up the phone and she came back and gave me cash back.
I literally have 15 minutes to buy the smoothie because it was my breakfast. I wasted 40 minutes there, didn't have the smoothie, and had the worst experience ever.
I have no idea if they don't get trained or what's going on with these people.
All I know is that it is a very dangerous place for those who have food allergies.

Great shakes. Love the Avocolada! The app makes it easy to order ahead. My one criticism is that I prefer no sugar, so I substitute Splenda... but half the time I find they ignore my instructions and use sugar anyway.... otherwise this would be 5 ?

We ordered the Pesto Chicken flatbread and the Caribbean Jerk Chicken wrap. Prices overall have skyrocketed, but not quality. The food quality was very meh. After eating the wrap, I felt sick later. The pesto flatbread tasted bland. The apple slaw had a bunch of unflavored kale and very little apple and slaw.Expensive and mediocre. Go somewhere else and save your money.

I’ve been going to this location for some time now. The service and atmosphere were great until the other day. While during my last visit, I overheard two women speaking rudely about a customer in Spanish. If the person at the counter was able to understand what they were saying, they would have walked out without making their order. I will not be visiting this location again. The ladies have shown how immature they are and the lack of guidance from the management really needs to be taken care of. No customer should be spoken negatively about in a language they can’t understand.

They don’t follow directions for your food orders here. If you ask to substitute something it doesn’t happen. If you ask to remove an ingredient it doesn’t happen.My wrap tasted like chemicals. Not sure if it’s the gloves they wear or what but it was soapy flavored.

We love Tropical Smoothie and have never had a sub-par experience with the flavor, until today. The Bahama Mama tasted like it had mold in it, and the Detox Island Green was virtually flavorless despite the ginger. Not sure if it was an off-day, but this was our first visit to this location. I doubt we’ll return here.

I just ordered a smoothie from DoorDash, and it didn’t come with a protective sticker over the straw hole like I have received before from other locations of Tropical Smoothie. Management, why do you all not provide that for safety and security purposes?
