i’ve been coming here sense i was in high school. quality had remained unchanged. prices have remained about the same too. always delicious food! i get the souvlaki gyro almost every time it is always served the same every time. full to the brim and yummy. yucca fries and fire too. good spot if you have some munchies or need a quick stop for food.
The new location is such a disappointment. Bland chicken, raw yucca fries, and stingy on the sauce. It feels like someone bought the name but not the recipes. The old spot’s chicken was lemony and juicy. We have been to the new spot twice, and it’s consistently not hitting the mark. Prices were fine and food was mostly edible — except my yucca, which I had to toss. We’re sad to lose a weeknight take-out that we loved.

I used to love this place until I didn’t. The leg quarter was not done. I called to let them know.

The meals are fresh and made to order, as well as affordable. The gyros are delicious, the meat is tender and tasty. And the old bay fries...yes!

We were so glad to decide to try it here. The food was great, actually much better than the pictures. We ordered a Cuban Pork Bowl and Souvlaski Bowl. Both of them were so delicious. We loved them. They served them in a metal bowl which is better than a plastic bowl. The price was $11.99 with a drink for each bowl. The staffs were very nice. We want to try other menus next time.

I recently dined at this chicken restaurant, and I must say, it was an absolutely clucking amazing experience! From the moment I walked in, the aroma of perfectly seasoned chicken filled the air, making my mouth water in anticipation. The menu offered a wide variety of chicken dishes, from crispy fried chicken to succulent grilled options. I couldn't resist trying their signature fried chicken, and it exceeded my wildest poultry dreams. The crispy exterior gave way to tender, juicy meat that practically melted in my mouth. But it wasn't just the chicken that impressed me. The sides were equally outstanding, with creamy mashed potatoes, buttery cornbread, and fresh coleslaw that complemented the main course perfectly. The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff who made sure every detail of our meal was just right. The cozy ambiance added to the overall charm of the place, making it a great spot for a family dinner or a casual date night.I can't stop raving about this chicken restaurant to all my friends and family. If you're a chicken enthusiast like me, do yourself a favor and pay them a visit. You won't be disappointed. This place truly knows how to turn a simple chicken into a culinary masterpiece!

This has seriously been my favorite place for inexpensive, tasty local eats for 20 years now. I've followed them through three different locations, all in West Springfield! The new location is great-- airy and full of light and plenty of seating, still with the fun chicken-themed decor. I'm so glad to hear they've reopened after the fire, and they're just as great as ever!Despite being an ardent Village Chicken enjoyer since elementary school, I've actually never had the chicken. I always get the delicious traditional gyro. You can watch them slice the mouthwatering meat right off the spit. Their tzatziki sauce is my favorite anywhere, and I am also obsessed with the sweet and tangy dressing on their cucumber salad. I tell all of my friends and family about this spot. It's my happy place!
I ordered the village gyro when I got home it was only chicken. It's not a gyro if there is no lamb. The fries were old and soggy. We eat here at least 2 times a month. When we called a guy answered the phone when we told him our order was wrong he act like he couldn't hear us and hung up when we called back he just held the line and didn't say anything. So disappointed.Update:I want to thank the manager for his quick response and taking care and correcting the issue with my order.
