Bread was not lighy toasted which resulted in eating a sandwich with not only super thick but also hard bread that almost hurt to eat and left so many crumbs each time we even took a bite.

Wouldnt come back.

The bacon and cheese omelette is amazing. I've never eaten more perfect bacon; especially bacon in an omelette! Not soggy, thin and crispy! Friendly, clean and an amazing value!
Don't miss this place!

Best place that I had breakfast during my stay in Springfield. The food was fresh and homemade, large hearty portions, great prices, and you cannot eat with a greater group of people. The staff was amazing and very attentive. I will eat there again during my visits to Springfield because my son now lives here. Thank you for your service.

This restaurant is located inside the American Legion. The place is clean and has attentive staff. The food prices are cheap for the amount. Couldn't recommend them enough.

Food is decent at reasonable prices. While at the American Legion anyone can come in and eat. A lot of veterans stop by to eat there.

My family and I came in for some brunch today and was told that they were closed. It was 1:45, but the website states they close at 2:30. Oh well, my party of 10 and I went elsewhere. For the server to tell me they were tired at 1:45 obviously meant they were tired and didn't want our money. My best advice, CALL FIRST no matter what time it is. They may be tired and closed. . .

Oh yeah baby, this is the best restaurant I have ever been in. The food is the best (would highly recommend chocolate pancakes) the restaurant is located in the American legion (you do not need to be in the military to eat here) there is no music playing, there is a lot of US history there. Overall, the best of the best.

You won't find a better place to eat after you've been here. The food here is literally like nothing else you've been to. Cool environment and I felt right at home.

Great service and food at a very good value. Coffee is fresh and ever flowing. My wife raved about the perfectly cooked bacon; nice and crispy. They also have sugar free pancake syrup to boot!!
