Abner B’s Ice Cream

Just okay. My husband was not impressed at all. I don't think we will be back unless there are some improvements (like fresh cones maybe). I personally love Carl's Ice Cream in downtown fredericksburg. They are definitely the best around but they are seasonal unfortunately. Sometimes you just want good ice cream when its cold ?. Being from NY we know good ice cream and this just misses the mark. It's not terrible but also not great. Just blah. Honestly, I was just reading the reviews and the owners response to criticism is just rude. It's obvious they cant handle it. Good business owners would try and improve rather then isnulting there customers. If I had read them prior to going I never would have. Maybe just see what you can do to make things better..Accept the criticism and try and obtain a better reputation in the future. Or don't respond at all. It's a bad look. I wouldn't say don't give it a try but my expectations were high and I was disappointed. The establishment is also clean so that's a positive.

My man Ed hooked me up with the best ice cream cone I have ever had in my entire life. I just got my tooth extracted and his hospitality made me feel so much better ! 10/10 recommend!

What a disappointment?!? I was not impressed. Overpriced ice cream in a stale waffle bowl. I would have better off getting a tub at the Publix next door. The staff looked as if they had better places to be, not even a welcome or two other words. My favorite is still Baskin Robin's. Good luck with your business model.

Ice cream is always delicious, but service/portions are hit & miss. Had to wait for staff to finish their conversations with friends before I was served. Ordered a pint for my family, but when I got home saw it was lazily packed. Disappointed with today's visit.

First time visit! Grandson loved the ice cream and the customer service was above and beyond. The 2 young ladies working tonight were Great!

The price is decent with good customer service. Good thing is they allow you to taste test their ice cream before purchasing it.

The hard pack ice cream is very good: creamy, not too sweet and authentically flavorful. I have enjoyed this local treasure for years - actually before the store fronts opened. My favorite is the mint chocolate chip followed by the honey orange. I have never had bad ice cream here. The ambience is spartan but I don’t come to be dazzled by decor. I hope this spot is able to make it.

Dropped my ice cream

Literally became addicted to the gingersnap Molasas icecream turned into thick shake. This is the only place I know that still hand spins their milkshakes.
