So far, this is one of the best Doña Azucena's restaurant we have visited, the food is always tasty, specially the Pupusas and the Grilled Chicken Breast. Five stars for the best homemade Horchata drink! The atmosphere is a bit crowded sometimes but quiet enough to enjoy a good dinner.

Always order pupusas and yucca here and its always good. Today I ordered the same thing but with a side of frijoles, frijoles is $2.95. For that price I expected it would be a decent portion at the very least almost the same portion as yucca ($3.95 I think). The frijoles come in a 3oz SAUCE CUP on top of the yucca plate. I thought there might be a misunderatanding that the waiter think I want the frijoles as a dipping sauce for the yucca. I let it go because I was in a rush and figured I'd just eat what's already served.

Bill came and I do get charge $2.95 for the frijoles. When I ask if that really is the portion for $2.95 frijoles the waiter/cashier said yes. He doesn't speak english so can't really asked more question bout it. Came here a few times before and had never seen him before, might be new idk.

Will still eat here for the pupusas and yucca, just wont order the god damn expensive frijoles anymore. Ever. 😬

Update: Came here for pupusas and yucca again. I asked for dipping sauce for yucca, green and yellow sauce like many other places that serve yucca will give out these sauce. Got charged $1 each, would be nice if I'm notified of the extra charges.

It is my go to place and mostly since it is the only Salvadoran restaurant in Stafford. The food is delicious. I have never had a bad experience with food or service. I definitely recommend it!

Horrible popusas the cheese in the popusas was not even melted it was bad quality not a good taste, the seafood soup horrible they use imitation crab meet and the cheapest shrimp precooked not fresh I hope I don’t get sick 🤮 , the server was ok but they were charging me for one tamal that never was served and I had to point it out for them to remove it from my account,I use to come to this place before I moved to Maryland 1yr ago but the quality is going down

I don't understand why the pupusas are so small. When they started serving the pupusas revueltas with red beans ??. I went to the Pupuseria on Glebe Rd before, and it was a completely different experience. The cebada drink tasted rotten. My first visit was very disappointing, and I will not be returning or recommending it to others.
