If you head to Fatty's, turn left at the Walmart stop light and turn right into the parking lot rather than trying to snake around to the other side. I found it was easier driving that way.

This is the place to go, for the seafood lover in you! I especially like the Gumbo and the Corn and Clam Chowder, with the garlic Texas toast! Always a joy to dine out at Fatty's Tap House! They also have a Military discount!

Went and had drinks with my bestie. We sat at the bar. I got the grilled shrimp tacos and onion rings as a side. My friend got the crab dip. Both items were very good. The lemon drop martinis are very good. I will definitely return and try the other items.
Parking: There is plenty of parking. If the parking lot is full you can park ar the walmart parking lot and walk over.

Stopped off here because of some heavy traffic on 95 South and a long drive home. We walked in and there were board games and card games on a small table that you could take to play while waiting for food. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our waitress took our drink and appetizer orders and once the appetizers came out, she took our dinner order. My husband ordered the Alfredo pasta and I ordered a custom steam pot with snow crab legs and a flavor shot of garlic & herb and Cajun. The food came out hot and had a lot of flavor. The steamer pot crab was cooked perfectly and I could tell it was fresh because it was pretty easy to get the meat out of the legs. The hush puppies that came with the steam pot were slightly overdone but had a great taste. The sausage, corn, and red potatoes from the steam pot were cooked just right. Overall, this was a great dinner for us both and a great little find not far from DC and Richmond. I highly recommend.
Parking: There is plenty of parking which includes two handicap spots up front, with one reserved for Purple Heart recipients.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp to access the restaurant and the tables inside are situated so that wheelchairs can be accommodated and spacing is wide enough for a wheelchair to get through.

My wife and I had lunch here and we thought the food was good. She had a crab soup that I thought was excellent. I had a half dozen oysters that were pretty fresh. My wife had a salad that she added crabcakes to and was pleased with her meal. The crabcakes had a nice crispy exterior and had a decent amount of crab in them. I had a snow crab leg steam pot and thought it was above average.
Service was excellent. The only downside was that 4 of the wall tap scanners didn't work. The staff did try to get those beers to work manually for us but that didn't work. The beer selection otherwise was just ok.
Overall, this place is worth checking out.

They changed their menu. It’s pretty awful. Very high prices for food that with the exception of the fries was very bad.
Service was terrible as well. Very, very slow on a almost empty Sunday. Waitress was asked multiple times for ketchup and we never received. Said she’d get us a refill but didn’t remember until the very end of the meal. Staff were mostly hanging and talking at the end of the bar so we had to go up and ask them for anything we needed, including the check, and still was hit or miss whether you’d actually receive what you asked for. Will not be back and sadly will no longer recommend.

Had lunch and really enjoyed the Cod basket (fish and chips) and a cold beer. The fish was fresh and battered lightly...perfect. Fries were seasoned with Old Bay and the beer was ice cold.
Music was a bit loud and service was slower than expected considering we were the only ones in the restaurant but I suspect they were getting ready for the day? Our waitress was very nice but appeared distracted.
We'll come again, the food was that good.
