Food was good. Small place to grab something quick to eat. Service was a bit slow since there was one server.

Great place to grab food, a coffee, or a beer!

We had the kids french toast, garbage bowl, breakfast plate, omlette and burritto bowls. The garbabe bowl really surprised me with the flavor. I usually do not like chorizo because of the overload of salt, but this was delicious. The omlette had great flavor. My husband and son liked the burrito bowels. My only comment for improvement would be the kids french toast- the bread was thin and recommended a slightly thicker sliced bread. Overall great flavor, service, and a lovely place.

03/16/2024: The service here is horrible. Server forgets our drinks and then the ticket is never ran so our food came almost an hour late. Our order: kids pancakes, breakfast sandwich, and breakfast burrito.0/10 would not recommend.

Went for a late lunch on Saturday. The place was busy. I arrived right after a party of 20 finished their brunch. Sat myself and waited for the wait staff. I came early and waited for my friend to join me. I ordered BYO burger and coffee. The wait staff helped me to redo my order because there was a mistake in my order. Overall, my experience was ok. It could have been better if I didn’t come when the place was so busy. A good experience, I probably would not know the restaurant if my friend didn’t suggest it. Parking was easy, parallel on the street. Definitely worth to stop by if you’re in the area.Parking: Plenty of spots along the streetsKid-friendliness: They have kids menu

Had no idea this was here, as it's nicely tucked away from the shopping center. Only had a coffee and sat outside, but the server working in the coffee counter was great. Will be back for food and coffee again for sure.

Grounds Bistro was the perfect brunch restaurant between Fredericksburg, VA and Woodbridge VA. The Bistro is tucked in between a cute neighborhood in Stafford, VA. Its a mix between bar and diner. Not raunchy enough to be a bar but not mom and pop enough for a diner; the perfect divide. Drinks were great. I order shrimp and grits which normally comes with bacon, guess what - it wasn't pre made so they were able to make it without the bacon (made my day). This was my first time visiting and I'll definitely visit again! Oh, we accidentally spilled water, not only did the server assist us with cleaning it up but other patrons helped. Good people eat here! Hold the bacon!

Wonderful brunch find for our family of 7! Made a reservation online just in case and they were ready for us. Shrimp and grits were great, filling yet light, Garbage Bowl was great not too much and delicious, Salmon bagel was perfect and the customized breakfast sandwich hit the spot. Mimosas were refreshing and a wonderful addition to our meal. Friendly staff, inside and outside dining, parking is on the street. What a great place in Stafford! Highly recommend

This place has become a go to hangout spot whenever I have a special occasion with friends or family, I may not be a resident of this community but I certainly enjoy what it has to offer.

Atmosphere 5/5. Beautiful interior.Food 5/5. Delicious french toast.Service 1/5. Lack luster. Not returning.Bottom line, great food but manage expectations. Service did not match atmosphere. I was regrettably disappointed.Sat self after meeting kind hostess. After waiting 10 mins, I went up front for menus. Couple came in after me and received greeting before my table. The rest fell apart, from that point. Received drinks and food after latter table and was greeted with complaint of “being too busy.” Last I checked, any business is good business and complaints to patrons do not go far.I’ve received better service from coffee shop or franchise establishments.Recommendations:-provide service matching kitchen.-Manage personnel for peak hours.-reinforce communication between host and server.-avoid complaints to patrons.

Finally, gave my neighborhood bistro a try after being bookmarked for a while. On a random Sunday, we arrived at 9:01am and there was already someone checking out and others inside already seated. We were greeting but a friendly staff who bubbly said "have a seat anywhere you'd like." This place is awesome!! The interior is spacious and extends to the opposite side of the main seating area. The exterior is more spacious and boy I can wait to return when the weather is nice to dine outside. The bar is small yet just enough to seat less than 10 people but still the right size. The menu is limited but extensive at the same time. You can order any beverage local beer to gourmet coffee. We kept breakfast simple. I ordered the sampler eggs, bacon, sausage, toast with a side of sliced tomatoes. My friend went rogue and opted for a la carte which included a large pancake as he described it was "excellent". The food was cooked perfectly with portion sizes to make you feel full and not guilty and the prices are unbelievable. There is street parking and a smaller parking lot located behind the bistro. I can say unequivocally that this bistro will be visited on a regular rotation.

We go there couple times a month. Today we went there around 5:40pm, a guy told us to pick a seat. Couple minutes later, a girl came and told us that they have a comedy show and they are fully booked. They basically invited us to leave. They could tell us at the door and don’t embarrass us after already at the table :( Their website doesn’t say anything about a comedy show and there are no signs at the door.
