We stay at the hooked on Best Western, on our way up North. This place is convenient when you don’t want to get back in the car. We ate here last year and it was fine. We were a little nervous after the recent reviews, this year. But there’s really not much else in walking distance. We walked in and were promptly greeted by the friendliest bartender, that told us to sit where we like. The bar was pretty full of people and she seemed to be the only one working. So they may be short staffed. We chose a table as we’re a family of 4, and she came right over. We put our drinks in and were told they’re out of French fries, we were fine with that. Drinks were good, food ended up being good, and the manager was rushing all over helping the girl at the bar get the orders out. His name was “Broadway”, I’m almost certain he said. He was really friendly, hard working and gave us great advice on how to get out of the area in the morning to avoid grid lock traffic. We were happy we gave them a chance and we’ll be back again next year!

Walked in ordered a plate of fries an hour rolls by and still no order get told they lost my ticket n they’ll find it 20 minutes later im told someone else is handling my order. Called out fries and o go to pick them up because I was told to go grab them and I get yelled at because it wasn’t mine ?? customer service was trash the fries were cold. Only good thing was the pool tables.

This place is a complete dump!!! Drinks are over priced for the baby cups you get. On a good night you might get a drink in 20 minutes. That’s just how terrible the bartenders are. People who have worked here have warned about eating the food as the kitchen is disgusting apparently. And now they have the audacity to charge for entry?!?!? Yeah it’s a hard pass for me and recommend nobody go to this roach infested dump!!!

We visited here years ago and the sandwiches were very good so we stopped by while running errands. The exterior is overgrown and junk in the parking lot. Should have left then. Once inside it smelled horrible, there wasn't any real lighting so you could see, and two folks had leashed dogs at the bar. That's what smelled! We got out of there promptly.

Suuuuper dead. Bartender said they didn’t have servers so we had to come to the front of the bar to order. Apparently she couldn’t walk 2 feet to let us know that. She ignored us complete but approached another customer. It doesn’t make sense we have to go to the front of the bar just to have her bring our drinks to us? A courtesy could have been letting us know that instead of having us wait for a long time just to figure it out ourselves. Lame club for sure, bad service, and the food is dry and nasty

The bar was terrible they said there was an order to things but honestly it was just a hot mess I waited over 30 mins for one drink and was very disappointed with it. The only reason it didn’t get less stars was because the food was okay

Went here last night around 7pm for some drinks and food. The plan was El Gran Charo but they were too busy unfortunately there was no parking. So we walk in and it’s so bright. Like high school cafeteria bright. Not at all the lighting you want in a bar for dinner… next there’s two guys hammering and I mean loud hammering fixing the pool tables. It was the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen. I couldn’t believe they’d be hammering that loudly while customers were there. And then the finally. A dog walks in. I could smell it from my seat probably 25 feet away. And then another effing dog. This one was actually at the bar. I’m shocked and I’ll never be back. The bartender was absolutely lovely and we felt really bad for her.

Looked like the place was closed until we walked in. The staff was very friendly thus a 2 star rating. The food was disgusting. We ordered burgers and fries to go and everything was so greasy and soggy that we couldn’t eat it. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

First couple of times here it was a great place to come to watch the game. Recently it’s just been down hill. Multiple times not enough bartenders leaving the one working stressed out. This time nicely staff but I was ignored multiples times by not one person but two. It’s always something if they don’t want to wait on you they will act as if you aren’t there. Not worth the hassle plenty of other bars with better service.

Last evening we stop by for the, first but not last time to have a cocktail with a friend. We met the bartender Kim and I asked for on Old Fashion. I have had this cocktail in many cities and No One has ever put the effort and attention to detail as Kim. She was a delight and my husband and I will definitely be back to see her. BTW : management you need to work on adjusting your lighting when appropriate... Way to bright.
