I recently dined at this hibachi restaurant and, unfortunately, left quite disappointed. The steak I ordered medium-rare arrived nearly blue-rare, rendering it essentially raw and unsafe to eat. To make matters worse, the cut was composed largely of fat, with very little actual meat. The miso soup, which I had hoped would redeem the meal, was bland and lacked the rich, savory flavor one would expect. Overall, the experience fell short of expectations and did not reflect the quality I anticipated.

Kobe is my favorite spot in Stafford! The hibachi chefs are always fun and make every meal special. The food is fresh, flavorful, and consistently great. Friendly staff, generous portions, and a lively atmosphere. Highly recommend!

This has always been a favorite of mine for years...but now, No, just No. The food was good quality, but literally no seasoning. Cooking experience was mediocre. The most disturbing issue was that we had just sat down (we were a white couple), and an African-American family of seven were seated with us and given menus when a manager came over and told the waitress to re-seat them because we had been waiting? We had just got our soup and salad, we had not been waiting, I've sat there and waited 20 minutes at the table for it to fill up. We told them no, do not get up, you're fine. The father asked if they served wine after they had ordered and was told no - I got up and got a menu and gave it to him, telling him they did in fact serve wine (it was their anniversary). He got their wine. This was a ridiculous experience and we will not be back.

I wanted to share some honest feedback regarding my recent visit on Father’s Day, as I left the restaurant feeling extremely disappointed and frustrated.

I understand that holidays like Father’s Day are especially busy for restaurants, and I came in fully expecting some delays. However, what I experienced went far beyond what I’d consider reasonable. After waiting 20 minutes to be seated, we sat for another 40 minutes before anyone came to take our drink order. That’s already nearly an hour without so much as a check-in or update from staff.

Then, after we finally received our drinks, we were told , another 30 minutes later ,that the food was still being prepared. By that time, over an hour had passed with no food, and no clear communication. We were hungry, confused, and honestly quite upset.

To make matters worse, my order wasn’t taken correctly, and I had to repeat it several times before it was acknowledged. I truly believe that with better planning and a more proactive approach from the staff, this experience could have been prevented.

Father’s Day is a special occasion, and it’s unfortunate that instead of enjoying a meaningful meal with loved ones, we were left disappointed. I hope you take this feedback seriously and work on improving your service during peak hours, both in communication and overall guest care.

They were able to accommodate a reservation of 30 people. We had people in our party aged 20 months, to 60+ years, and someone in a wheelchair. They were able to accommodate and have a fun interaction with each of us. I would absolutely recommend.

A solid 5/5 rating here guys. Tender, quick, and delicious. Been here 3 times in about 2 months. Each time was a great experience. The cooks are quick and fun, orders are accurate, and the drinks are strong. I have sat down without the cooking and it is ALOT faster, just as tasty. Two people can run a tab of about $40 each with just hibachi fillet and chicken. 🐓 i always left with leftovers. Again highly recommend, I post honest reviews. 5/5 guys.
