Patronized Paddy’s Public House after attending a funeral for a respected commanding officer from B Co. 1/6 circa 1998-1999. The group met up at Paddy’s and enjoyed a few round of drinks, food, and swapping stories of the fallen. The atmosphere was nostalgic and the service was excellent and staff were always attentive. Great place to visit and definitely coming back to this establishment when we all reunite to visit.

Came here with co-workers one evening for a business meet-up and to grab dinner. As soon as you enter, it smells musty and like they just stopped smoking cigarettes in this place a year ago – yuck! It’s pretty run down looking inside as well, definitely has the roadhouse/honky tonk look to it, but definitely not that type of vibe. The menu was rather simple, with bar food type stuff as well as some of the Irish bar type items, but it was missing corned beef & cabbage.
We tried the wings and I have to say that their hot wings were nice and spicy and tasty too! Their chili cheese fries were decent as well. I got a burger and it was nice. The onion rings were really good, but the slaw didn’t look very fresh.
Service was fairly decent… our server would walk away and forget to bring things or not come back for a while.
Last time I was here was about 16 years ago… I could go for another 16 years before returning. Evidently this place has become a place for the Marines and FBI Academy classes to visit… I guess it got that title after Major Spooner sold The Globe & Laurel, which was a much more deserving place of those groups to visit out of tradition.
