Amazing food and the service was fantastic!

I've been eating their El Burrito Loco for 20 years, and my husband used to come home with 4 grocery/paper bags full of various appetizers and entrees regularly! Excellent good, excellent service, and great atmosphere! In fact, my daughter and I are ordering from them for dinner tonight!

Was staying in town on business and had a craving for some good Mexican food. I was NOT disappointed. Great food to go and friendly service. My only regret was not eating inside because it had a great aesthetic- a little kitschy, but very cool.

We came here a few years ago, but they have improved significantly since then. Every thing was good and we enjoyed ourselves.

Okay so having been to a few other Mexican restaurants in the area I was curious to give Pancho Villa a try. Walking in the restaurant is nicely decorated and clean. The server we had was great. We started with some queso and guacamole. Both items were good and the salsa was fine. We had 4 adults ordering entrees varying from burritos, empanadas, fajitas, and mixed plate. I personally got the empanadas. When I tell you the chicken empanada was for sure made with tuna I am not lying. It was so off putting and I am not someone who generally isn’t into my food. The fajitas were unappetizing and came with very rusted lettuce and the burritos were not good. The chile relleno I had was good along with the beans and rice were also run of the mill Mexican sides. All the food came out cold as well on a very dead early dinner time. It goes without saying we won’t be going back. I would head down to Route 1 for a much better Mexican restaurant experience before ever stepping foot in this restaurant again.

Our waitress was Adele and she did an amazing job!!!!! The food was amazing!!!!! We are southerners originating from Arizona and we were really impressed with the food here in VA. I ordered the steak tacos and my mom ordered a taco salad. We were really happy when the staff was able to accommodate us, close to 11 o' clock closing on our way back home to South Carolina. P.S. I thought you were really cute and sweet, Adele!! Kudos! ??

The food lack major flavors and spices, I ordered the lunch fajita and it wasn’t hot even hot, the server wanted to charge me for hot sauce,

I ordered the chicken and shrimp fajitas... It was shocking to see how little chicken you get with the 3 shrimp. I know inflation is bad, but wow, just charge more! Beans were cold, and I'm pretty sure one nibblet of the chicken wasn't cooked all the way.

Serving size was laughable.

The food did nothing to amazed me. The Mexican paella was definitely not what I expected. It was more of a soup base dish and did not wow me over, I sent it back to the kitchen. The cievche was bland and seemed like it was thrown together. The tortilla and salsa was bland. The wait staff was very friendly and polite, the restaurant was not the full which could mean something.

Our waitress is fantastic at her job. Her ability to connect with others is natural and she treated us like good friends. The food and atmosphere is also exceptional and welcoming.
