This is the best place in Virginia for catfish! The batter is light and crispy, the planks are large, and they are NEVER overcooked. Pair it with the homemade tartar sauce (I haven't figured out what's in it, yet), and my-oh-my what a fabulous meal!
Walked in after getting my hair cut next door. It was a poor down rain kind of day and I was starving. So I figured I'd try something a little different. I got a cat fish sandwich and the greens. Let me tell you I was not disappointed. Cooked perfectly all the way around and an amazing portion as well. The price caught me off guard a bit, but you figure you pay the same at McDonald's for a large meal. I was full and happy. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly...
I'm from NJ and I must say the catfish was great. The best catfish I ever had . I got two big pieces of catfish. Hush puppies was delicious. Mac and cheese and string beans was okay .
