One person in our party called to make reservations for lunch and was told they are booked and we need to bring our own food. So we bring our own snacks and were admonished by the rude staff that outside food is not allowed. We explained that we called and were told otherwise. Also, there were several tables unused inside, and they wouldn't allow us to use one of them. They were all reserved is what we were told. However, no one showed up to claim these tables during the time we were there. Such a pretty building and grounds, it's a pity the staff is so unpleasant. There is no reason to go back since there are plenty of other wineries with great tasting wines and friendly staff.

Fabulous bistro and winery that has seasonal fun events. Just attended their wine and pie pairing tastings and it was phenomenal! They also have many wonderful events throughout the year and their fall festival is another one that is not to be missed. They even had fright flights for Halloween with candy! The service is always prompt and friendly as they check on you throughout your meal. The ambiance is that of a French chateau with beautiful rose garden and backdrop for weddings. The ambiance inside the bistro is intimate and cozy. We love it so much here that we joined the wine club! Dog friendly outdoors (on leash please!)and they have ample seating outside when the weather permits. Also, save room for their exclusive ice cream made from their wine, it is SO delightfully delicious!

We originally fell in love with the outdoor essence of PPW, but unfortunately the weather was not on our side that day. Chelsea and her team worked diligently to ensure that the pivot to an indoor event went smoothly and it was absolutely beautiful! Guests were captivated by being in the Cellar area for the cocktail hour and were impressed by the quick turnaround from ceremony to reception decor. The quality of food and drink selection was amazing as well and there were nothing but smiles all around. The wedding package was worth every penny. It took out the hassle of dealing with other vendors and ensured we would get exactly what we were looking for. We seriously cannot stop raving about our choice to be at Potomac Point Winery and we can't wait to host another event there!!!!
Spent the day at the Bistro enjoying the rib burger and the sangria. Our server Jordan was very attentive. The crab dip was excellent just needed more pita bread. Looking forward to going back and tasting the baked cod. Also will do the wine tasting

My husband and I visited and ate lunch at the bistro for our wedding anniversary. Our waiter was great and very attentive. The food was amazing. Wine was delicious. We really enjoyed the charcuterie board and I had the crab cakes. For being a “small plate”, these crab cakes were huge and were some of the best I’ve ever had. We had complementary champagne for our anniversary. It was such a wonderful day we will definitely be back!
