Went and ordered the meat lovers omelette. Omelette was humongous, but the bean portion was tiny. While I do like the portion of the omelette, and my drink. Very well done. I will not be going again. For the second time they put my order in a to go box when I said here, and they didn’t even bring me water when I asked. They also only bring you water when asked, and charge extra for cheese in your omelette. The bathroom was also not very clean. Toilet needs cleaning, and it was...

A quick search for “authentic Mexican in Charlottesville” brought me here. Thus providing me with a brief and bittersweet visit to the fine people at Sombreros. A memory that is sure to endure for the following reasons:

Hands down the best Chimichanga I’ve ever eaten. Slightly crispy exterior, with rice, cheese and tender steak inside. And so much flavour! I also had 2 tacos (steak and chicken) which were excellent. The salsa verde must have been home...

I had the carne asada taco and it was delicious. The steak was seasoned perfectly. I would show a picture but I finished it before I even thought about it 😋. Will definitely be back.
