Lobster roll was overcooked, chewy, and completely flavourless. Hushpuppies were disgusting. We were sat in a section that had no atmosphere whatsoever. Only saving grace for this place was good and timely service. Will not be coming again and recommend others to stay away until they fix their cooking

Amazing service and atmosphere. The food was mostly delicious. But overseasoning has ruined the taste. Also, I feel like bacon (meat) addings to the seafood soup must be mentioned in menu.

Prices are very high. It is hard to find a place to eat out these days that is reasonably priced compared to just a couple of years ago. We can't find a place to eat that my pocket book can sustain.

It’s a winter time in VA. I came to see the changing foliage and stopped by for dinner in downtown Staunton. The main street was closed to traffic (only on Saturday )for walking and for outdoor seating to the nearby shops. I found blu Point restaurant opened. Their specialty is seafood ?. No many options for the vegetarian crowd with the exception of salad. Me and my party were promptly seated. Their waiting staff were friendly but the ambiance was a bit noisy, with spacious seating inside and outside. They have a long inside bar where you can ordered any cocktail or mixed drink to your delight. At the end of the seating area you find the kitchen window where the food is prepared and it’s visible to all patrons. Our food was tasty, nicely arranged in a plate and moderately priced. I think if you are visiting Staunton, Blu Point is a good place to enjoy a meal.

Wife has a lobster with big chunks of claw meat. $27 We have a truck sells for $22 in TN. And this was hugely better. Huge Caesar salad with local radishes and red onions. $11 Crab Cake for $22

We had a wonderful dining experience at Blu Point Seafood, and Cassy, our server, made it even better! She was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. We kicked things off with the calamari, which was perfectly crispy and flavorful. For the main course, the oyster po'boy was packed with fresh oysters, and the seafood platter with fried haddock and scallops was delicious. The clam chowder was rich, creamy, and absolutely amazing. Great food, exceptional service—highly recommend!

Nice atmosphere, and great food. Our server, Lori, recommended the crab cakes and they were among the best I’ve had. It’s strange that they are not one of the selections on the “recommend” part of this review; I think they’re exceptional. My husband had the chicken pot pie, also very good.
