Took my Granddaughter for crab legs , my wife ordered the shrimp and grits , I had raw oysters . My oysters were oysters . Apparently the crab legs were good, my Granddaughter consumed then happily. The shrimp and grits were awful , and at $28 really ???
But my wife is too too polite and said they were good to our waitress Jaclyn.
Their version of Key Lime pie , is a thick creamy creation with cinnamon chip crumble on top was for me the BEST. Service was great with a smile and Jaclyn cleared off the used plates as should be in a wannabe upscale restaurant, it is a decent good restaurant , not a Michelin star . I wasn't looking for one either, my wife says she will never go back , but I think if our granddaughters want to , she will.
I know I will ,, it's a tad pricey , but food costs are higher than ever before, (August 2025, wonder why?) but a good slice of non traditional Key Lime is hard to find.
- also they were open on MONDAY evenings , with the exception of the Shrimp and grits, 👍👍
FIX THE SHRIMP and GRITS Blu Point , because seriously the serving we got Monday August 18 , 2025 were just nothing! Plenty of Shrimp , but zero taste - overcooked and grits were more mush than grits.

Nice restaurant, friendly staff. Second time visiting. Had the Beverly oysters as an app and they were delicious. Blackened catfish with rice and Potomic tower as main dishes. Catfish was extremely salty and rice was very dry. Shrimp was good, but lobster was chewy. 1 app, 2 main dishes, 2 sodas = $120.

First time is Stauton and the restaurant is a must go.
Lobster roll was overcooked, chewy, and completely flavourless. Hushpuppies were disgusting. We were sat in a section that had no atmosphere whatsoever. Only saving grace for this place was good and timely service. Will not be coming again and recommend others to stay away until they fix their cooking
Amazing service and atmosphere. The food was mostly delicious. But overseasoning has ruined the taste. Also, I feel like bacon (meat) addings to the seafood soup must be mentioned in menu.
Prices are very high. It is hard to find a place to eat out these days that is reasonably priced compared to just a couple of years ago. We can't find a place to eat that my pocket book can sustain.
Restaurantji Recommends
Seafood was fresh and prepared well. Service was a little slow
Wonderful fresh seafood selection, decent prices, in a historic downtown
Awesome Calamari and Fish n Chips
Went there for a happy hour and had very good service. A great selection of drinks and a comfortable vibe.
Highly recommend for a nice dinner in town
Visited on a Saturday night. They had live music, which i really enjoyed
Service: our waitress was wonderful. Friendly and attentive
Food: from the hush puppies to the tuna steak and chicken pot pie, it was all very good.... no fan of the state/local taxes though. Almost as bad as Canada, but I know it's not the restaurants fault.
