Ordered 60.00 worth of food. Very disappointed in the chicken got home with our order and the chicken looked and tasted like it had been sitting for sometime. So hard that my family would not even eat it. All the sides where okay but the chicken was absolutely terrible. I will never be eating from this place again. After calling and telling them about the food this guy tried to tell me the chicken was fresh as he cooked it himself. No way it was fresh cause everything was packed up in no time and I didn't have to wait for anything even being that I ordered all dark meat. Worst experience EVER!
Literally HATE the automated AI order system.
I have to say the food was very hot as we like it, service was excellent and friendly and the store and grounds were spotless!
Excellent
Great food, clean and I love the drive-thru AI. Quick, efficient and accurate.
There is an AI machine that takes your order at the drive-through, however, my party stopped here just for blueberry biscuits. Which came out hot and fresh, also when we got to the window, there was an actual human wearing a headset as well, which reassured me that someone was actually quality checking the computer taking orders.
WOW! Absolutely delicious food & an interesting experience as we stopped in at this Bojangles drive-thru. Keep reading …
Driving I81 heading back to our portion of the Northern East Coast from the Southern East Coast we spotted this Bojangles directly off of the interstate!
Growing up in Georgia, it was never unheard of to receive a phone call from Nannie W asking to swing in by “The” Bojangles to pick up her favorite, “Country Fried Steak Biscuit.” I know she would have loved the Cajun French Fries but don’t recall these back then.
The Cajun French Fries and Egg & Cheese Biscuit we purchased through the drive-thru at this location were hot & fresh; truly delicious!
To our surprise as we pulled up to place our order at the menu across the speaker came a “robotic/computerized” voice “Welcome to Bojangles, may I take your order?” No human?
Just then I replied, “Just a moment please.” In turn across the speaker was this remark, “Take your time let me know when you are ready.” 😱 🤔 😱
We proceeded with ordering a chicken biscuit combo meal with a sweet tea & was asked if the order was complete. I answered no, and asked for another large sweet tea.
We got to the window received the order without the second sweet tea believing that was the first error of their computerized system … technically it was but not the first error of the location. As we approached the entrance ramp to get back on heading back north … opening what was to be a chicken biscuit we found it to be an egg & cheese biscuit. The receipt was correct so this error occurred on the inside.😥
Is there a standing policy that if the customer states they were short a product would the customer automatically receive the product and if yes, where are those extra products being recorded as those are company losses.
With regards to the computerized ordering process, the drive-thru attendant advised it has only been in service for about two months. As a business owner, it would seem logical that at some interval in the making of the computerized ordering system AI must have been used; however, I do wonder how much testing was involved in an actual order simulation environment.
Nonetheless, it is imperative for companies who may choose to move to automated systems such as this to ensure they also have regular error detection and reporting in place as well for ongoing operations and systems improvements not to mention being able to capture the types of errors along with whether product miscalculations occurred which resulted in missed products having to be replaced or given at the window as those should definitely be tracked.
Simply placing a second machine where the attendant could easily push the product button since there is no money being exchanged should not cause any bottlenecks from occurring at the drive-thru. These steps would help reduce unwarranted waste while capturing company loss.
Overall, some improvements needed at this location but it was definitely an interesting stop to say the least. Kudos Bojangles.

We went on December 4th, at 5:30 pm, whoever the manager was I believe he had blonde hair. I know he had glasses was absolutely wonderful. When he spoke to his employees, he spoke to them with respect. Same with his customers, I’ve never gone to a restaurant and been more impressed with a manager than anything else. Every establishment should have that guy as a manager, It’s just the way he made his employees and the customers both seem like they were the most important at the same time. Wonderful experience, will absolutely go back food was great!

This was the BEST fried chicken sandwich I've ever had at any fast food restaurant! It wasn't oily, had a wonderful crisp to it, and I ordered it spicy and it was the perfect amount. Only comment to add is that it had very little mayo on it and just in the center, not spread end-to-end.
